from completed build Ember (2.0)
Cheap board. Looks like it should be ITX sized. No overclocking available, which I didn't understand many years ago when purchasing the 7600k to replace the original processor that was originally socketed in.
from completed build Toxic
It was the cheapest option for my cpu. But it hasn't given me any trouble, ever. 07/13/2019 Still running, still has awesome UEFI.
from completed build Mainly Fortnite build for a mate
Meh, only the 2 ram slot next to cpu work, online manual described these as no.1 and no.2 (a & b). Suited my needs even with only in system fan header which I knew going in. The led can be turned off before u update drivers as after it will not turn off. Got it on offer at £46.98 from Amazon.
Barebone basic, kinda regret choosing it now...
from completed build Idiot Box
PROS: Solid motherboard for $70. M.2, four RAM slots, six SATA ports... internal connectivity is sufficient for most people. CONS: The PCI-Express x16 lock makes removing a dual-slot card very difficult. The expandability with a dual-slot card is limited to one PCIe x1 slot, which is occupied by a Wi-Fi card in this case. And where is USB Type-C?
from completed build Orange Fury
It provides 4 RAM slots and a little orange LED by the I/O ports. The BIOS is easy to use. I'd buy again and again.
from completed build Kaby Lake Hackintosh/Gaming Build
Really good motherboard for this price, compatible with MacOS, and I was able to undervolt my 7700k to 1.13v stable in AIDA64 for 12 hours too.
from completed build 1st PC Build - Lessons learned...
I got this on sale for 45-50 bucks. I should have saved a few bucks more to get either an ATX or a micro with more capabilities.
It only has one fan header so I also purchased a splitter because I have 3 case fans.
The B250 chipset also does not allow overclocking, so keep that in mind.
Also, raid control in the bios is either non-existent or hidden really well, which I doubt. I've tried numerous times, can't find raid controls.
It has 4 DDR4 memory slots which I am only using two of for now. I hope to get to more sticks in the future.
from completed build Blunt Force Trauma
Also came in a bundle with the CPU and seems to work fine but I definitely over payed on this.
from completed build Red Dragon
Cheap in money but not cheap in quality
from completed build Mid-Ranged Intel Gaming System
I suppose it gets the job done. It's kind of ugly and hard to work with. BIOS is really nice though. You can turn off the annoying yellow light in the BIOS.
