Does no one know this already is a thing?
Pok3r rgb would be a good fit for you
Only hhkb. No back lighting and rare cap sets. And realforce does not offter 60%.
Same. Favorite being frog leap studios remakes.
Iirc ti's always get announced after amd release.
Man greens are what I want in this https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=2207 . Trying to email the co to see if they will install greens. I just wanted a split spacebar and thought it was unique. If they wont install maybe I'll just grab a z70 or minivan
Theres a huge meta game (I know on pc) but its 100% grinding.
And a good alternative to a switch tester is buy from a place with a good return policy. Like amazon its $15 for a returned keyboard. I usually start people off with blues then act like a therapist in making sure that switch is everything they want.
But if a switch tester is what they want, I tell them to get this
You can even email the guy and get any switch installed!
No worries on not knowing but be warned! It can become very addicting!
Razer is garbage. They sell you on "gaming" but they use cheap plastic cases with even worse switches.
So the basic switches are made by cherry mx. Two colors you are interested in are browns (which has a "bump" when the switch is pressed down) and blues (which make a click sound). A easy way to hear which sound you want is youtube the switch comparrison.
Next on switches are their weight. Do you wish that your current kb switches are a little heavier or a lot heavier. Ex is your current kb, are you constantly bottoming out? So much so that your fingers hurt?
Well to start what size are you wanting? Full, tenkeyless, ergonomics, 60%, 40%, etc..
Second is what features do you want or need.
Lastly, have you thought about which switch you want. This is where you need to do the most research.
If you cant overclock a 8320e to 8350 speeds, then the motherboard wont run a 8350. If she doesn't want to overclock then she should look into locked i5 intel cpu. If she wants max overclock potential out of the am3 socket the 8370 is the best option.
But my comment was aimed at the bang for the buck comment they made.
No the 8350 the exact same chip just more expensive. Smart choice is 8320e.
If she must use the am3 then the 8320e is the best choice unless you want max overclocking potential. Mine does 4.62 gh at 1.338v but my chip is unstable at anything over 4.62 ghz even at 1.55v.

Are you trying to join a specific server? Also which firewall/antivirus are you using. It may be blocking it maybe? I play it everyday.
Seems like a bug tester for am4 prior to zen release. The main market they are aiming for is oem prebuilts.
not to a nas, no.
how am i wrong about not getting a ssd and getting two hdd instead?
yes that is a possibility.
Yep. If you use your home use file server as a off-network plex server as well, a beefy cpu could be required. I thought I would ask anyway since that one part of the build most people overspend on is the cpu. Even on-network plex servers require little cpu usage.
On top of what panthersoul said, why a i5? A dual core would be plenty for a home use file server.
All excellent points that I second. One thing is freenas doesn't use 16gb of ram but the files (zfs) use about 1 gb per 1 tb of storage.
Theres plenty of stuff online but a great story is best experienced not read.
yep. i have the x61 but ran into a silicon issue way before temps became a issue.
if you are determined to squeeze every mhz out of your cpu and believe that temps will be a limiting factor before anything else, then the x61 is the best option.
if not, the 100i for almost half the price is the better option.
They give you 30 days then everything but the very basic features are disabled.
there are always reports of stuff frying. like when crimson released. hell even fe cards burning up. just because 1 motherboard bites it doesn't mean the card is bad. AMD is probably rushing since it exceeds TDP, the cooler might not handle it and cause throttling which is something reviewers have found. but either way, lets wait to hear from AMD before you label it a bad card or a problem and you tell people there motherboard will fry when you don't know.

if further explanation is required - https://youtu.be/E_E2eqtm4Yw?t=368 yes hes no professional nor editing master (which he desperately needs) but its the most accurate PCB tear down available.

Portal 1 & 2, wolfenstein new order and dark souls prepare to die edition for $20.21
if you have a gamestop around you, i just picked up a new hard copy of doom for $39.99.
10 minutes before work - skyrim.
same wishlist. would like freesync with at least 45-120 refresh so i can use LFC on it as well. but if VR can get me to the specs i want sooner for a reasonable price, then ill jump.
but at least we have the display port technology to reach our dreams finally!
ill be waiting awhile. at least until monitors make there counter. before VR, we just had monitors and they could update at there own pace. now they have competition, so it will be interesting to see what they do. will we finally see HDR true 10 bit color monitors now? we shall see.
Wait. 480 will have the newest features and this 390 has a below average cooler. Plus if the 480 is good, prices will drop even farther on fury and 300 series.
What are your cpu temps?
It will be interesting to see if sapphire brings the vapor x and msi with the lightning to polaris or save it for vega.
if you think vega is exciting, you should see navi. this is a longer video but worth watching - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSYBO1BrB1I
Probably wants to purchase it from silicon lottery
and for a small form factor gpu - https://pcpartpicker.com/parts/video-card/#c=330&sort=a8&page=1
also post your part list so we can see if you actually have a issue
Nice find. Good deal.

i have a 6100 and live in dayton....
If amd stops making cpus then intel will get torn apart via anti-competitve/monopoly laws.
Yep. Ill be jumping from 8320e/290 to zen/whatever they call there 2nd from top end gpu.
I'll wait for vega. My 290 still giving me what I want.
Upgrade now unless you can wait till much later this year. zen is a gamble if it will be more performance than current intel cpus. Even if you wait till then im sure intel will be releasing something new soon after. Then you will be asking the same question if to wait or not.
Only rumors. I would just upgrade now if you have a mobo.
Yes. right forearm and across shoulder blades. I want to extend it over my shoulders to coller.
Actually the complete opposite. Amd has features that havent been supported yet and nvidia concentrates on max current performance. Example being async compute. Amd has this hardware feature in all gcn cards which took die space lowering performance where nvidia hasent supported it yet since its only now becoming relevant. Nvidia says they can emulate it via software but early test show less efficiency and larger cpu overhead.
Prebuilt and ready to rock
