PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
But as I said... No GT 1030.
Well... I don't use mail in rebates. Forgot to add that rule (I always forget).
I think your list does good for a CPU intensive workload but the GPU in mine could always be useful. Depends on user though.
-10/10 IGN Unapproved: "The largest donkey turd we have seen in a while."
6GB model should still be VR ready if I remember correctly. A R9 380 can still make it pretty far these days if your willing to turn down the settings, so go have fun and remember if push comes to shove to just get Reshade.
Ryzen 3 2200g should be about the same as a Ryzen 3 1300x just with an IGPU.
Probably what half the people here thought. xD
The ziptied fan is to big to fit on the heatsink and I need alot of air going on to that CPU.
You could say that GPU does actually mine often.
3.5TB of storage. Lots of harddrives.
That last sentence means: fantastic little workstation to pile some papers on and leave running overnight at your office if you want to start a fire and get away with it.
Alot. Way to much indeed.
Where do I get the mounting adapter for that CPU cooler?
I own that 600w PSU and have it in an overly hot room while under 70% to 99.99% load 24/7. Thing works perfectly fine.
So what's wrong with the 600w and B1 PSUs?
I have a question.
Good or Bad PSU? (Excluding price)
The Pentium build looks fine but the Ryzen build is now to far over $400 ("to far" being over $424.99)
Mail in rebates do not count with me thats a $450 PC.
Actually was fine with everything upto the point of there being not dedicated GPU. Dedicated GPU is a requirement.
$70 mail-in rebate does not work for me. That makes your real total $481.49.
Tell me how it turns out! I'd love to hear!
I was asking because I knew that my computer with a FX processor has to have some type of driver installed in windows for full 3TB+ support.
How about "Haunted Red" for the name? Your GPU is the ghost and everything else is "Red".
Basicly your GPU encodes the video instead of your CPU. OBS supports it.
For me it would probably bring back some good memories. :)
I like your thought by the way. Could be many uses for it.
I would say they might have some data stored because of price charts but I dont know how far back that goes. As for programming it in... Might take a while.
Sounds good. Thanks!
So bitdefender has files scanned in the cloud?
Would have been funny if each response was 2 months apart. xD
Real soon... * evil voice *
You use any hardware acceleration? Could get you crazy good video quality.
Actually the processor is perfectly fine at 4GHz. I'm doing this to pull what ever extra speed I can get out of it. The voltage for 4.4GHz was about 1.54v and I calculate the TDP to be 183 watts. It also made it 4 hours with the stock cooler under a pretty basic load. I was going to stress it but then I saw a new RvB episode and then I went off listening to music on YouTube for the rest of the 4 hours. I could see what would be stable VCore is for 5GHz and maybe that could help with a decision. Not all processors are made equally maybe I could get lucky and have similar power usage when compared to a FX-9xxx.
Im just trying to use what I have. I dont have alot of money if any for upgrading my PC.
If I were to upgrade to Ryzen im looking at 16GBs of RAM on one chip (I would want another later on and hopefully get to 64GBs one day), ATX motherboard (Probably Gigabyte because of the dual bios has saved me alot), and an 8 core Ryzen that I can OC to 4GHz (or higher) but I dont have infinite money. For now im stuck with an FX.
Now back to the previous topic. I dont need ice cold temps but I do want to not be overheating.
Wow. I feel the same. I have a FX-8320e (4GHz OC) and even under heavy load im usually maxed out at 60% usage on alot of new titles. Could just be my crappy GPU though. An i3-6100( or 7100)should be fine for most people.
(When I say crappy I mean old and glitchy)
Uh... This post was made a long time ago. R9 380 was upto date at that time.
Update: I have it OCed to 4GHz locked. xD
I know right!? xD
I use unraid for VM hosting look it up. Big difference between unraid and raid!
Im a fan of linux but if your not a full blown computer geek linux is confusing.
Anyone got something to say?
Good choice on the SSD! They are cheap and fast!
Looks at the PCB they are just using it as a cable I believe.
I'm using a riser did you look at the link?
Wow. I could not help it though sadly. Or could I? xD
What do you mean? Are you talking about the wires? xD
This was a long time ago but I probably should make a post about it now because alot has changed in my build.
3 GPUs, 32GBs of RAM, Unraid, and more!
I found reviews where people had trouble holding it in place!
Its only ment to store just the main part of the page
Oh thats cool
Wait is Unraid known for NAS or something?
I'm hosting VMs
