Nice build! unique choice of using an APU. If you didn't buy the gpu right away then I guess it was suitable but if you did.. Oh well :D +1

I don't think he can. I believe the APU's have an r7 gpu on die, and this 7770 is far too old but I may be wrong.

You know, this really isn't that bad for sub-$100. I've recently ordered a q8400 and a gtx 580 with mobo and ram for just about $90. Just need a psu to get it going. Love budget builds so +1

I hope you didn't actually pay $115 for that 610. Overall, this will be a fairly decent pc once you get a nice GPU in there. +1

Nice pics! I think part selection is great, albeit a very powerful CPU. I think 16gb of ram will be plenty for now, and you can definitely add lots more if you ever feel like you actually do :) +1

I really like the look of that GPU and CPU cooler! Gives it a very clean look, and I'm sure you can reach the slider/tab if you come at it sideways with a screwdriver. +1

Whaaaa! Nice build. I actually think for this system that the 6900k was a good investment, considering how this was an extreme build and this is definitely one of the best cpu's available. Regardless of Ryzen, that 6900k will perform no less or no better, so it was definitely not pointless. +1 for sli 1080's and duel 180hz monitors.

Welcome back to PC gaming! I'm absolutely in love with the clean look some motherboards have, not exactly sure what that's called. Also, +1 for the sli 1080s and Inwin case.

Nice battlestation! I can't wait to see what kind of insane monitor setups people are going to create in the future to try to have all of their vision in the game. Imagine a monitor that fully curves around you and the game could be setup to support that type of thing. +1

Jeez, maybe something in your setup was conflicting with the other boards? All i know is you have a very competent pc and a seriously fictional-looking setup, in a good way of course :)

Oh. I must've spaced that. Maybe misapplied thermal paste or something, because I would've figured that loop would've handled a 7700k alone easily. And I would just add another rad or just replace that 120mm with a 240mm if I got my temps under control and wanted to see if looping the 1080 was do-able too. But that's just me.

Edit: Also, 37 degrees while idle is definitely a little high.

NICE setup, +1. That 1080 will definitely last you a long time especially if you play at 1080p. And that 6 core isn't gonna let you down anytime soon. Welcome back to the master race :)

Edit: Also, you've got some serious style with this setup, love the colors
