Where did you get that hook for the Oculus Headset?? I need to get one of those!
Problem is the Memory, Mobo, and CPU. hoping this ties me over for a while, until i have to replace all three...fingers crossed!
I was referring to Ultra settings. At the moment my Fury can do close to the same as a 1070 at medium settings i usually get 50-60fps across the board. At 1440p its a absolute champ and will take anything you throw at it.
Figured I would up date this...i installed the individual sleeved cables the other day. I also installed a USB 3.0 4 channel PCIe card for the oculus rift.
Let me know your thoughts!
Its the best Lapboard option out there. At least in my opinion. I live in a smaller apartment and it works wonderfully when I am on my bed.
Thanks for this thoughtful and informative answer. I am glad i am still in the thick of things for a bit, and can sustain even longer if i adjust settings accordingly. Happy new year to ya!
My I7-3770K is running at 4.4Ghz, based on that link, and you apply the logic to a 1080 ti, its only a marginal increase in performance given the cost. Yea i do realize that any upgrade would require DDR4 memory, and given how memory has increased in cost its a substantial financial undertaking.
I wonder with a 1080 TI, with a i7-3770k @ 4.4Ghz, how much life do i have left in this build?
in 1440p its a champ 100% it will take anything in ultra. I would like to start gaming at 4k with 60+ fps, the only single card that can do that is the 1080 TI or higher. The question is should i just upgrade to the 1080 Ti, or do a full system upgrade which will include the 1080 TI. How much longer is my build relevant? How much life is in the flagship Ivy Bridge?
