I have the hitachi for large reliable storage to hold videos, photos, music, etc. M.2 for booting games/OS
Damn I didn't think of that, we still have the case so I'll upload a picture of that when I get the chance, it didn't have any windows so it just looked like a basic black case. Thanks dude, appreciate the feedback.
I see the RGB fan controller that came with the fans, do you know a good standalone control box that would be able to control multiple types of LEDs that vary between 5 and 12 volts?
Wow that case is stunning. Super nice build, it looks amazing, good setup too.
I love the setup, I maybe would have gone with a little better video card like you said since you have 3 monitors and VR, but considering the price spike from mining, stuff is just too expensive at the moment.
There actually is not an issue! It looks like it wouldn't clear it, but I checked, it's pretty nice. You just have to put the ram stick closest to the cooler in first before the other ones
Love everything about this build- the story, the mods... beautiful job man.
I feel ya, but the cable felt much better bending over the bar rather than being super bent going under it, plus I think it looks just fine too. I do get what ur saying lol, I did consider putting it under.
Thanks dude, lol I see it now
Lol, if only the dorm desk wasn't built in
Thank you so much, this is exactly what I was looking for. Glad you gave me input on all 3 as well:)
I love this build! Reminds me of my first build with my 750 ti :). Good job at keeping it upgradable for the future
Why so? There's not many other options we could have gotten to keep it as cheap as it was. Booting it up yesterday, we ran plenty of games well at 1080p. Also, we had no choice in the video card, we already had it.
Ok, might not use the ryzen build here, but I've always wanted to do one! Have you made any ryzen builds?
Dude thanks so much, this looks great! I was thinking of the Pentium, but I've never had experience with it before, and I've had success with i3s. I'm about to build a different PC with the Pentium, so I'll see how that works out. Judging by other comments, I take it the i3s are kinda dead now lol.
Cool looking build! +1 for butterfly knife
Looks super nice and your setup is pretty cool! +1
True, but since he mainly plays fps games like CS:GO and now Overwatch, he wanted to go for a 144hz monitor over higher resolution. I think he gets around 70-80 fps right now without oc on witcher.
I was thinking about that, but he's starting to prefer the windows layout and settings and wanted to keep it simple. He's gonna start using ableton to make music now as well.
Just checked, it says the i3-6100 isn't compatible with the motherboard, and I was really set on this mobo for its price and features.
Ya the red ram is weird, but for some reason the prices worked out like this, and my friend said he didn't care about colors at all lol. Trust me, I would have loved to spend about ~$40 more and spice up all the colors a bit.
