Really nice build you got here! Some inspiration for my next build. As for the fans it could be a problem with not using a 4 pin connector since 3 pin fan headers don't have PVM capabilities. It could also be a software issue. If I'm not mistaken, the UEFI BIOS should have some fan controls. It's also rumoured that Corsair Link 4.0 is going to be available soon and will have many improvements. Hope that helps, sorry for the long comment.

Really nice build! Just curious if you ran into any problems using the motherboard with the El Capitan install. Cheers!

Wow! Nice photos! I have a similar build but with a Gtx 970 instead. Might upgrade to a 980ti since so many builds feature them.

This is a really nice build! Have something very similar. I kinda broke the "budget" aspect once I got the new monitor. Well done +1

If you're going to be doing water cooling I would recommend the Fractal Design S, since it's a case designed for water cooled builds. Otherwise, The R5 should work fine if you remove some of the 3.5" drive bays at the front.

While I was installing the H110, there wasn't enough clearance for the radiator due to the drive bays. I removed them all and now I have much more space. Installing it top mounted was a bit of a challenge, I may consider re-installing the cooler to the front if there is a difference in temperature.

I mostly play smaller indie games on steam. A few more popular games I play include: GTA V, Far Cry 4 & Skyrim.

Yep it's real. Luckily there weren't to many face palms when building the PC. Just a few hiccups when installing Windows 8.1 Thanks for checking out the build.

Well I didn't want to make it to offensive. But maybe you could say it's dedicated to Muhammad Ali. Thought about calling it Allahu Akbar but I wanted to keep things NSFW and not have the NSA kick down my front door. Thanks for checking out the build.

Good idea. I wasn't exactly sure what to do with the placement of the PSU. I know it would be good having a bottom intake for it, but the PC is currently on a carpet and was worried about it not getting adequate airflow. The graphics card should be added soon but the budget has been tight. Thanks for checking out the build.

Very nice build. I honestly think the red BitFenix case is a tad flashy, but it adds something to the room. And with the Gpu , you might as well "upgrade" to a Gtx 970. If you get the non reference version, it'll be quite quiet and your wife might not even notice. Anyways it's a very nice build. +1

+1 This build is so sleek! Just love it! How's the curved monitor with games? I thought about getting one for my setup. I really like the posters! Wondering if you know where you can get them?

+1 Any benchmarks? Are you dual booting Yosemite and Windows? I really like this build, I might build something like this for photo editing.
