For my first build i had RAID 0 With 4 disks and it massively reduces loadings screens, boot time and will help FPS Minimally but i like it for the read/ write time that you get you get.

I saw a video where a guy RAID 0 32 harddrives and he Was copying stuff at around 6gbps

Looks all good but i would RAID 0 If you have the Experience or knowledge to do so, my build which is currently being assembeled is sililar to yours and it should handle gaming at decent level.

as you have mentioned in comments i would reccomend getting windows 8 and then installing start menu 8 to remove the stupid new screen. The benefits of windows 8 is the Faster boot times

Cpu'z are very delicate i would put the cpu in the motherboard, which you said went fine, and boot from there, and don't yet put on the cooler to see if it is the CPU

really hope you didn't go with a single stick of 8, it is not as fast because some of these motherboards use dual channel memory

I agree with cooperred, you do not need two internet connection routes. I would aim another $100 into a better GPU for your expected needs.
