this is awesome. 10/10, and I don't give those out much OP (;
Really clean stuff! I like the OCZ in the bottom right with the blue showing on the window.
The RAM prices look about standard to me... Of course I'm used to it, they didn';t use to be 70-90$ for 8 GB sticks in 2012....
Very impressive stuff. Bad stuff for the h100i... I heard the H105 is a more refined version.
Possibly that's very rare though. Worst case just RMA the board :/
Nah just every benchmark I've seen has it in the lower end of the spectrum, I'd personally just pay 10-20 bucks more and get the better RAM, it's more of a "sport" model RAM.
nice banana m8
Hackintosh. Good stuff lol I have a macbook air and each OS has it's functions/uses.
very nice cable management and good pics. good ****!
Update all of your drivers including your chipset (very important). Also set your LAN settings to not wake on packets as well as set your BIOS to enable S4+S5 sleep settings.
Last suggestion, completely uninstall Intel Rapid Storage Technologies, a lot of ASUS mobo owners have the same issue with this software.
Finally somebody who uses the 290X to the fullest potential. Good ****. I;'m assuming you do AMDs version of screen spanning?
Some very high quality pictures. Not a fan of the RAM choice but other than that everything else looks really solid. Good stuff
That'll do pig. that'll do.
Don't wanna sound like a douche lol but I kinda got the case before it became extremely popular. IfI could have gone back I proly would have just made a micro atx build with a smaller case.
Finally someone that actually uses their powerful GPUs for something other than 1080p lol Great job!
I'm sorry but a 290X is kinda overkill for that monitor. I'd understand if it was like 1440p. Otherwise nice build!
Good desktop build for your parents!
I really reallyy like the Phanteks cooler with the white NZXT case. Also nice choice on GPU and CPU, you won't be disappointed. Solid build.
Yea the hue adhesive isn't amazing. I can speak from experience lol
pewp, wish I coulda scored on that ): Really nice build though, any reason why you went with the crucial ballistix and not G.skill>?
I like this build a lot. Also really good build for the price as well, I want to know where you got an i7-5820k for $310 lol
Damn that's a nice *** parts list
Was like "wow gold looks lame" then saw the colors in the dark and was like "wow impressive" lol nice job
What monitor is that? Also I really really like this build, really effective and simple
These are the best pics I';ve seen on this website. Also, very nice build. 9/10
I really like this build. Mom is probably proud (':
lol that's weird that you got a 7.3 on the SSD, I used to have the exact same one and got a 7.9. (obviously EI isn't a great measurement, but it's still amusing to check from time to time)
Well I had an R9 290 and I probably just got a melon, I had pretty bad throttling issues with mine (XFX Double D R9 290) and the heat output was pretty ridiculous. I have a reference design 780 right now and it still is cooler and only uses about 45% fan speed at high loads compared to my XFX card I had.
This is without a doubt the most high-quality, well-designed, and executed build on this website. It should serve as a benchmark for high-end builds for years to come.
Idk why people say to get the i5 non-k version lol it's so pointless, the K version is actually on sale for cheaper than the non-k as I'm typing this.
But yea, nice build, the 8350 is a solid processor even though people bash AMD all the time on here. Friend has one and loves it.
lol just one question though, why is your Corsair pump mounted like sideways? Monster build though and nice job
I actually like this build, pretty good flexible build. I'm not a big fan of the whole "new Pentium" revolution or i3s in general, so I would have to agree on the CPU choice for modern multi-tasking. Just IMO.
You have extremely great taste in parts my friend. Also who cares if your GPU has a blue trim, it's a 970... LMAO Idk why EVGA put that blue trim on their cards, shoulda just kept it simple with a grey or stay green
I'm a sucker for mini itx and micro builds. Great job
I like your choice of parts, nothing too expensive but high quality and doesn't break the bank
nice choice of parts
I've only had it for a week now but so far definitely really liking it.
Any reason why the Windows Experience index gives you a 7.8 on your RAM? lol that's kinda odd to me. Also, I've never seen someone get a perfect 7.9 it's always like the index won't let the CPU get a 7.9 lmao
Nice soundcard, how is it? I was thinking about getting an ASUS Xonar as well but a cheaper version.
Also the picture of the multiple ASUS logos with the ASUS GPU gives me chills haha
Damn son you got a deal on that 780Ti and 2 seagates. Reminds me of my build but cheaper with a better GPU.
ohmygod the pics are such nice quality. The blue lighting and subtle coloring theme. HNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
Very clean extremely nice!
Has i7-4970k, is playing Morrowwind LMAO. I'm kidding with you, but I hope you are using that CPU for more than just playing Elder Scrolls (;
That is the tiniest computer I've ever seen. Nice job
more pics of dem sexy amber lights hngggggg
LMAO are you going to hack the Pentagon>? 20/10 build
Nice pics and really like the build. Blue theme is awesome
nice home desktop build!
