The RAM prices look about standard to me... Of course I'm used to it, they didn';t use to be 70-90$ for 8 GB sticks in 2012....

Very impressive stuff. Bad stuff for the h100i... I heard the H105 is a more refined version.

Nah just every benchmark I've seen has it in the lower end of the spectrum, I'd personally just pay 10-20 bucks more and get the better RAM, it's more of a "sport" model RAM.

Update all of your drivers including your chipset (very important). Also set your LAN settings to not wake on packets as well as set your BIOS to enable S4+S5 sleep settings.

Last suggestion, completely uninstall Intel Rapid Storage Technologies, a lot of ASUS mobo owners have the same issue with this software.

Don't wanna sound like a douche lol but I kinda got the case before it became extremely popular. IfI could have gone back I proly would have just made a micro atx build with a smaller case.

I'm sorry but a 290X is kinda overkill for that monitor. I'd understand if it was like 1440p. Otherwise nice build!

lol that's weird that you got a 7.3 on the SSD, I used to have the exact same one and got a 7.9. (obviously EI isn't a great measurement, but it's still amusing to check from time to time)

Well I had an R9 290 and I probably just got a melon, I had pretty bad throttling issues with mine (XFX Double D R9 290) and the heat output was pretty ridiculous. I have a reference design 780 right now and it still is cooler and only uses about 45% fan speed at high loads compared to my XFX card I had.

Idk why people say to get the i5 non-k version lol it's so pointless, the K version is actually on sale for cheaper than the non-k as I'm typing this.

HURR DURR.

But yea, nice build, the 8350 is a solid processor even though people bash AMD all the time on here. Friend has one and loves it.

I actually like this build, pretty good flexible build. I'm not a big fan of the whole "new Pentium" revolution or i3s in general, so I would have to agree on the CPU choice for modern multi-tasking. Just IMO.

You have extremely great taste in parts my friend. Also who cares if your GPU has a blue trim, it's a 970... LMAO Idk why EVGA put that blue trim on their cards, shoulda just kept it simple with a grey or stay green

Any reason why the Windows Experience index gives you a 7.8 on your RAM? lol that's kinda odd to me. Also, I've never seen someone get a perfect 7.9 it's always like the index won't let the CPU get a 7.9 lmao
