This computer was built as a photo editing workstation and a gaming PC second. A $180 1080p 144hz TN panel would be garbage to edit photographs on. My Dell is perfect for what I need, in all its 10bit ips color and 4K resolution. ummm love it.
I’m not sure if you’re old enough to remember the bitcoin mining fad. When this PC was built, graphics card were way overpriced. I never thought a 1050ti was going to game at 4K, It was a place holder till prices normalized. I’m glad it irks you that I had it in my build but unfortunately it has been replaced with a 2080.
How much do you think I paid for the aio? I got it 3 years ago at Microcenter as a refurbished unit for $70. This cooler does a great job keeping my cpu cool quietly.
When can I expect you to post your PC?
Your able to change the lights in the bios. The painted part are still there but don’t bother me, it’s closes enough to red.
Great idea to have the PC in the closet. I might do the same.
I bought a wifi card from Microcenter
Nice 1st build.
Looks like your ram is in the wrong slot.
Your mobo manual should tell you which slots to use.
I'm jealous, good job!
Excellent job! It's a beauty.
Thanks. love the monitor just wish it was bigger then 27 inches since its 4k, at least 32 inches. I use it for productive not so much gaming.
I'm coming from a fx 8350 so to me yes.
The logo is the only rgb on this mobo the rest is painted.
Love it! +1
Thanks man! Here you go.
I know exactly what you mean, I'm a little terrified too but this case is screaming custom loop.
looking forward to filling that space.
You know it!
True, just thought it was a funny name. Maybe I'll change it to Fish Tank.
Thanks, I'm way stoked. Glad to be apart of the pcpartpicker community
No worries, thanks for looking.
You called it. Thanks mi amigo!
Agreed. I’ll probably move my rad and populate the side with just fans for now.
Thanks. A Canon M3.
Thanks for the heads up.
Thanks for the advice! I’ll see what I can come up with to add to the description.
It was fun and with all that room plan on using it for a long time.
Thanks mi amigo.
Case is great, lots of room but still looks great with out a custom loop.
I’m surprised by the 1050ti it’s preforms way better then expected. Originally got it to hold me over till gpu prices returned to normal. But it’s working fine for me now.
Its great! lots of room for a small foot print.
At Microcenter when I bought it they had a bundle pricing which brought down to price of the CPU
Lucky (in Napoleon Dynamite voice)
This is excellent! But I don't believe that this is your 1st build.
Thanks! That why I like this site, I'm able to combine both my hobbies.
Nice clean concrete and build.
Nice build! I would love to see some 1080 sli benchmarks.
Lol! Good one.
Love the pics!
Great budget build! Are you able to crossfire your apu and gpu? if so I would be interested in seeing the benchmarks. +1
Look like a beast of a machine. Do you have any benchmarks? +1
I like the blue color scheme! I would spend a little more time on your cable management I know it can be tedious but this case does a great job at hiding the cables. +1 from me.
Your custom water loop is awesome. Where is a good place to go to learn how to install one of those?
Bought all my parts at Microcenter.
I wish I had the GTR, but when I bought my 1st card I did know there was GTR, and when I pick up the 2nd I wanted it to match.
Interesting . And that was made by intel.
Sure I have a screen shot of Time Spy. What other benchmarks would you like?
When I'm playing 4k cpu stays around %75. but my biggest concern is getting more RAM in the computer.
haha! I know I need to make a trip to the store and buy some more.
I am excited for the new platform to see what new things AMD has to offer but I probably will wait about six month just because of my personal funds.
