I have been building PC's and modding game consoles starting out as a necessity. When I was a college student and broke I remember losing a hard drive on my PC. Heading down to the local computer shop they were more than willing to charge me over $200 dollars just for a 160GB drive (who else remembers those days?). That didn't include installation or anything. I started working on that Athlon tower, then worked on some Pentiums for beer money. Eventually, I was regularly in a computer whether mine or a friends replacing components, restoring data etc.

I modded original Xbox's with chips so that they were basically game PC's. My buddy didn't believe me when I told him that his Xbox had a celeron installed. So i took out my torx drive and proved it to him :-p.

I am an Engineer by degree and am always tinkering with stuff. I always love a challenge.
