They won't hire under 16, I'll try again after my birthday in February.
First build with a Nvidia card.
It's builds like these that make me feel like I should have gotten a mATX build.
thanks, will try AIDA.
Great build, but how are you getting such a low temp on the cpu?
I'm running my 5820k at 1.38V @4.5GHZ on a Water 3.0 ultimate and i'm getting 70°C
no, you don't need anything else.
try booting from an Ubuntu live disk to see if the problem still persists on it.
FX 8350, HD 7870, Hydro h80i, 16gb RAM, ASUS 990fx-a, EVGA 750W G2, Sandisk SSD Plus,Ultra Etorque A5
I haven't experienced anything similar. Maybe reset CMOS?
it's just white LEDs. (the picture makes it look blue)
It's just the ACX 3.0.
I don't buy preOC'ed cards if there's a cheaper option at stock frequency.
Great build, but why a gpu with Axial fans over a blower?
With a blower, the gpu doesn't spread hot air around the case, while having the gpu running slightly hotter.
Maxed out on Fallout 4 without antialiasing:50-60 with random drops to around 40 or so
Maxed out in Battlefield 4 with 4xMSAA: locked at 60.
GTA V, ARMAs, Battlefields, Just Cause, heavily modded Skyrim, Fallout games, battlefront
Most new games run near 60 without Antialiasing (not needed at 4k).
The only game I've seen get under 40 at any point is ARMA 3, (and we all know it runs like crap) but I also have a fairly small game library.
I didn't have any problems with mine except the random resetting of CMOS if I have an unstable overclock.
As long as you don't flash an incompatible BIOS, there's almost no way to brick a motherboard. Plus, you only need to update BIOS if the board is giving you problems.
In all honesty, I am not. It's amazing how much profit you can make by selling a PC to people who don't know much about them. I sold a $650 pc for $1350, by comparing it to s equivalent prebuilt PC by a major OEM.
I wish I was rich.
Nice! small question, what temps are you getting with 2 axial gpus in SLi?
I heard Axial cards get worse temps than blower cards temps when close together.
If the cpu had an igpu, I might've waited for the Hybrid GTX 1080.
Simply because of how many apps and games are becoming multithreaded, the 5820k is a good choice. Plus, overclocking it a bit will give you better single core performance than the 6700k.
It's nice, basically the non Sabertooth Skylake ui.
It's white in person. One of the best white LEDs I've seen on a computer, actually.
Plus, the 6800k would have prevented me from getting a gtx 1080.
The reason for such an expensive GPU is that I wish to do 4k gaming, and I never found a Fury at price that made me consider one.
They recently opened a small computer repair shop where I live, have to see if I can get a summer job there,
mainly doing chores for neighbors, birthday passed during the period I was saving up.
According to FedEx tracking, the 1080 comes on Friday.
The zion portable part list?
+1 nice build. If you could +1 twice, I would because of the Windows 7 reality check.
went from planning to getting a similar build to this with a GTX 980 to this http://pcpartpicker.com/p/FHMq6h
Found white DDR4
I was planning on getting more or less the same build. Until I somehow managed to raise my budget by $1k.
Get multiple 1tb, 2tb, or 3tb drives instead of a 5tb drive. Hard drives that are 4tb or more are known for failing early.
Any X99 motherboards under $250 coming out with AURA?
How's fps gaming on that monitor?
Seems like it has an amazing display.
revised, following most suggestions.
The cooler is for noise reduction
If you have good experience with a company's quality, there is little reason to abandon their products unless their competition offers something drastically better.
I don't know why, but I looked up the mobo. Although the physical board and BIOS are ugly. I find it beautiful because of what it supports.
Ah, I didn't look at that picture. From a distance, they look like Noctuas
Yes, KrumpetPirate is correct
You should Push/pull on that cryorig, should be around 10-15% cooler
Would've been true Phanteks if you used one of their CPU coolers. (Some are close to Noctua)
But, awesome build!
should've used that case, fits AMD perfectly
True, hopefully things will change with Zen.
Forgot the 390X2 existed and the Radeon Pro Duo (aka Fury X2) isn't out
Thanks, it's my first build guide.
wish we had mc in florida
