CUTE KITTY ALERT +1
Somewhat odd choices here.
Yeah if you waited could have gotten a better card for the money. There's still that step-up program you can use so it's not too big of a deal. +1
All those free parts! hahaha
I really like this one. Great pics, clean build, nice choices.
Man that's one high price tag for the GPU, guess that's just how it is. Nice build though. Really would have just bought an H100i instead of that air cooler but I guess maybe the prices were higher for EU. Not a huge deal but you know. +1
odd, really would have liked to see more pictures and elaboration on the choices here...
I agree with NeonMane, you should have just went with the saved money from getting only one stick of memory and put it towards a better GPU. Even if you're doing some photoshop/video editing, unless it's heavier and you really do benefit from the extra 8GB it wasn't the best choice.
Nice little build. I'm sure they are very appreciative of you doing that for them! +1
Nice build. I'm sure you're enjoying it nice little deal on the RAM I believe. +1
Nice build I'm sure your friend will enjoy it :) +1
This case picture is spooky
Nice deal on the GPU and what not. Looks good. +1
Yeah you shouldn't be worrying about airflow with that type of thing. Put it into the top slot.
Hopefully that PSU is working well for you. Personally would have just payed a little bit more and bought an ACX card from EVGA instead. +1
Glad you're enjoying your new machine. Shame that your motherboard had a broken audio chip. I love the Corsair Vengeance K70! +1
Not bad. I think it will do what you want just fine. +1
Brb crying in the corner because I'll never get to have something like this +1
Oh ok thanks for the clear up on that. My bad.
I didn't read the entire thing you are right. I only read the headers and the part that was talking about the graphics card. After rereading it, it makes more sense. Still was a little bit not clear.
Haha nice build I'm a fan. +1
Not bad I suppose +1
Seems I missed when you had a proper description up because it only says "I will add better pictures later". I don't fully understand the point of the 32GB of RAM unless this is meant for heavy Photoshop work or video rendering (etc.)? Could have just bought a H100i cooler instead for around $20 more or so. But I suppose if you're not going to OC the CPU enough to were the H100i would be really useful, might as well save the cash. Seems like good choices though I'm not going to lie.
Nice build +1
Okay it seems that you bought the GTX 780 without knowing the 900 series cards were coming out or you were really impatient. I'd say this is a pretty nice build. +1
Definitely looks pretty cool I think with the lighting. Would have definitely just gone ahead and got a 1TB HDD since the price is very minimal between 500GB and 1TB. The case was a little pricey and personally I feel like a cheaper one would have worked just fine and you could have used the saved money for better parts. Not to say your parts are bad but you get my point. Probably would have gotten a 16GB kit instead of 8GB since you're using this mainly for PS. Hopefully you didn't take offense to that as it's not intended, just a personal thing I would have done.
This seems mostly fine for what you are intending to use it for. Plus as always this is your build so if you enjoy the choices that's completely fine.
Yeah definitely would have spent a bit more on the motherboard since it seems like you had the budget to do so. Not a bad build though. I'm a fan of that 970 Strix :D
Nice build but like xx116xx had said: "why the locked CPU with a Z97 motherboard?"
Not bad I suppose. That CPU is pretty expensive and hot, but it's not bad. +1
Nice PC I like seeing builds with a Xeon for some reason, is different. +1
Glad you decided to go with a PC over console over time haha, as well as the fact that you finally got the money to buy something you wanted. +1
Nice little gaming build. Unfortunate to hear you couldn't get one of the USB 3.0's to work due to an absent socket for it on the motherboard.
Any reason as to why you chose to purchase a 780 Ti? Sorry if I'm absent of some information that says you built this before the 900 series cards came out. Other than that good build +1.
Nice little HTPC. Hope it's working well for you :)
Not bad. Really good price for the motherboard not sure where you got it from but it must have been at a nice discount. +1
Nice parts for the money. +1
Not a bad build I suppose for 2013. +1
nice :) +1
Yeah just get an i5 for a 1K budget if you're gonna play games. That money saved could all go towards a better GPU and that's what matters most.
Nice system. I always thought that blue against white or black was always really awesome to look at. +1
Getting that GTX 780 was a bad choice (assuming you bought all these parts after imminent news and/or release of the 900 series cards). You can literally get a GTX 970, save roughly $150 and get the same or more performance as well as the extra 1GB of vram. Other than the GPU choice I'd say this is pretty good.
Good build. I hope you get that RAM issue fixed. +1
You could have bought a 1TB Caviar Blue drive for only ~$20 more. More than double the storage. Other than that not bad, +1.
Nice build. I like it +1
Yeah that is a pretty looking case, personally prefer less flashy colors like that brighter red, but it works well. Nice build for the money~ +1
Hm not bad. Good build overall, the part choices are well made. The GPU RMA deal sounds like it may have came about from indeed that weird Molex connection to it or w/e that was haha. I like this though +1.
Nice build in my opinion. The choices aren't bad. For a after market CPU cooler I'd recommend getting the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (as someone mentioned before me) or if you really want to overclock that FX-8320 pretty high spend some more and get yourself a Corsair H100i for water cooling. Hope the GPU thing gets sorted out that is unfortunate to hear +1!
Nice system. I really wish I had that type of monitor setup ;_; +1
