I being a former console gamer, I fully understand where you are coming from. I didn't get it until I actually saw the difference with my own eyes. Its like this... while playing DOOM I can get up to 180fps on ULTRA settings at 1440p/100MHZ. Once you get used to that you cannot go back. I tried firing up the PS4 version of the same game and couldn't get past the first level. Its just a totally different feel/experience. I just spent $3000 on a new rig. To me its worth it.

You've got the same chip, AIO, mobo, and ram as I do. I went with the STRIX 1080ti OC edition. Your build is clean!

Well it was actually RIVATUNER that was giving me the issues. I couldnt get the OSD to show up while playing DOOM but I found a work around. Just wish is would work like normal.

Yes I have the OC version of the 1080ti as well. Last night I hit 200 fps while playing DOOM on ULTRA settings with no additional overclocking. The lowest FPS Ive seen with this card is 90. All on ULTRA settings. Maybe theres something wrong with the OSD but its running buttery smooth. Anyway, thanks for the speedy response..:-)

Awesome build! I do have a question though, were you able to overclock the GPU? I have the same one and even though its lightening fast as is, I cannot get a decent overclock on it. I mean, I'm getting triple digit fps numbers in every game I play and I really cant complain but I want to push the card to its limits. Good job on you build and best of luck in all your future builds!

Awesome build! Have you had any issues with the GPU? I'm having problems with trying to run MSI AB. It wont show up in some of my games.

Awesome build! I just finished ordering all of my components. I noticed that you have a lot of the same ones I have, I was wondering did you use thermal paste when you installed you cooler? I think the Corsair comes with it but not sure.
