is that the Red Dragon Keyboard by any chance?
love the red and black theme, this is a solid build man. lol @ buying a prebuilt! i think we've all done that at some point in our lives haha.
haha ill definitely take a look at them!
Man i'm in love with this setup. Color scheme and whole vibe of the room is on point, not to mention the little beast of a PC you've got yourself. Really well done, and quite the man cave.
But i gotta ask, where the hell did you get that 1080 for $400 at ? lol
+1 for the Kayn background
ok awesome thank you for that feedback. I'll absolutely look into getting a higher wattage PSU and some case fans!
Thank you !
dude this cleannnnn i love it +1
not sure if you're nocturnal but if you could, please take some pics in the light. I wanna see the beauty.
really enjoy this color scheme! +1
man that means so much coming from you haha. Thanks so much!
he said he usually does Ebay and craigslist. the man is a god when it comes to finding parts
minus the cable management you said you need, i think this build and overall setup looks super clean. Well done man!
okay, this thing is so cool. Idk how you managed to build in it, but +1 just for that!
would there be a reason it wouldn't be easy to make it your boot drive? i've never used an m.2 drive but i imagine it's the same as designating a regular SSD as your boot drive no?
hey its me ur also friend friend
I want to add to this question: what are the temps like with a vertical mount vs. horizontal if you know? I've heard vertical tends to run hotter in most cases
that ryzen stock cooler is so freaking annoying to install lol. My first build i did was with it and i thought i F'd everything up .
these pictures are beautiful +1
appreciate the feedback this was super helpful!
Serious question: is it normal for those cpu & gpu temps to be cookin like that? I mean obviously you're pushing out a lot of power.
I have a very basic build with a 1060 and ryzen 1600 so that's why i'm asking... for future reference.
Very nice build btw !
Man I've got the same CPU and GPU. This is a great budget build that shreds most if not all games with at least 60 fps. i'm thinking i might upgrade my GPU to a 1070 in the future possibly a 1080 once prices drop a little more with the 1180's coming soon.
I"m afraid though, you think a 1080 would bottleneck the cpu?
Great build man. Did you ever think of getting an SSD? What's your startup time like with just the HDD's?
yea thanks dude. appreciate the actual constructive criticism rather than someone ridiculing what I've spec'd out lol. If you think that i need a better PSU then i'd agree with that. And yes i'm looking to definitely upgrade within another year. Probably a new GPU once the 1180's come out (if they ever do). As well as more Ram, and more storage. I have so many options for upgrade here, so i'm happy with what i've got currently
First of all, i spent about half of what that card costs. What you fail to realize is that these are the parts that PCPP has currently. Not what I paid. I paid about $70 less for the GPU, paid half of what that wifi card is, and I got a 32' curved monitor for $180 with Gsync. So before you ridicule please ask. And idk wtf that SSD is that you've spec'd out, but i'm not about to buy some ******** SSD that i'm not familiar with. If i'm being frank, i spent less than what your build shows there. I also work for an IT company and can source the majority of this stuff at wholesale.
add more pics after you're done !!
yea man i just built in this case also. Happy to know that there's enough room to upgrade and still look as clean and sleek as your build does +1
dude i love it haha. Plus you didn't have to spend money on a case XD. Definitely something new and creative!
Mad props for building inside an Xbox. But isn't this thing gonna seriously overheat? lol
yea they were and then i realized there were designated slots for them, so i switched them
I'd love to see more pics of this build!
Also: does the Radeon run hot? I've heard some can get pretty toasty
Yea i might try to re-install the drivers, maybe i messed something up that i didn't realize.
Thank you for the feedback
do you stream or record with this build at all? also how do you like the blue yeti mic?
+1 nice build man
ugh i'm in Jersey haha! I don't have the money to take a plane to and from work every day XD
you taking apprentice applications? lol. would love to learn a thing or two from someone with 104 builds under their belt
I built with the same mobo in a similar case(s340). youre right it's clunky and you have to move the fans around a bit
I like the look of that AIO in comparison to a stock cooler. I legit just built inside the same exact NZXT case with the same exact mobo except mine was the 470.
I gotta ask, did you end up having problems with the wifi when you tried connecting? i had so many issues so i ended up getting a pcie bracket to connect to the mobo as a wifi extender.
I'm giving you a +1 just for the Jim Beam
Mobo said "nuh uhh you ain't stickin that flashy s*** in me."
Corsair Void's are the s*** i love those headphones.
man this is awesome well done. The first few photos of the side-by-side PC's is sick!
Love the zombie theme haha
pretty dope the way you have that hooked up
i heard that case is a total pain in the a** when it comes to airflow.
what do you think?
man great build for a first. i hope i have as easy as a time as you did when i do my first build lol
I've heard good things about that thermal paste. What do you think? substantial difference in temps with it?
battle bunny riven ftw
any specifics on what games? or just GPU intensive games in general?
what keyboard is that?
This is reassuring. I'm literally in the same boat. Going to build a budget build, first time pc builder, and know everything i know strictly from this website and YouTube. Only difference in our builds is I'm going with an SSD. What's your startup time like with the HDD?
Btw great build!
that monitor is gorgeous
