IS your rad push AND pull on the front?
the godlike mobo just wasnt needed
well the ram sticks are silver/gray on top so yeah and the cooler can be changed to whatever color you want but it comes black faced with the gray/silver trimming. the mobo is NON rgb and will look good as its mostly black and silver
Its kickass. Plus i love MSi's Bios and monitoring and tuning software
Just Pull on top and it works great, Every day im OC to 5ghz and holding no more than 60 every day all day during load
I left the filter off for the photos. Unfortunately that’s my only gripe with this case is those damn filters being not very friendly but I figured a good way out
Haha new desk is coming. Not sure I want sleeves so I have new black and blue cable sets coming my way soon
I’ve got new cables coming in blue. Just going to replace them all. I don’t think I want sleeves. So I left the shroud off, there is a psu shroud though so I do have it.
You’re correct it is aa TI
Hey man ive got a question for you since i want to do a build with this case. i have an h115i as well and im wondering if you can mount the h115 AND a GPU 120mm fan and radiator like the 1080ti seahawk underneath?? so id have the h115 radiator where yours is now, or pushed up as high as it can go, then put the 1080 radiator under it? thanks dude.
is there a way to fit the h115 i on the top? i feel like it being on the front kills your airflow
so from the looks of it. you cant have a 140mm fan as the exhaust? also will a dual 140mm radiator fit up top?
Question, where did you hook up everything to the h115i?
Hey what about using the MSI x99 workstation or the Xpower gaming titanium?? It looks like the spacing on the work station is far apart but I can't tell if the slots are x16 supporting
Right now I don't see a reason to take this whole thing apart again. It's working and I'm getting performance that I like. Difference between 130fps and 140 GPS doesn't bother me haha, however I have been running some games at 4k settings and the bottom card has not gone over 83C. And the fans are usually maxed out at that temp. So I don't see it ever going above that. Returning the mobo and getting a different one just would take too much time that I don't want to use up haha but I am thinking maybe in another year or something like that
update. honestly i didnt see that big of a difference where i would want my one card to be much hotter than the other. i ran about 6-10 degrees hotter on the card that was suffocating. not a big deal but both running at x16 gave me MAYBE 10 more FPS. im no official benchmark tester or anything but the 3d mark score put me at the "better than 98%" of all results category with the cards at x16 and x8 each. now my bottom gpu is pretty close to the power supply shroud. however thats more room as you see in the pics than it is if i put the cards in the pci 1 and 3 slots. literally theyre almost touching. with the cards in slots 1 and 5, the bottom card has still about an inch of clearance so thats plenty for airflow. my fans are all at just above the auto fan curves and no overclocking is necessary for me. i put it back to the 1 and 5 slots just cause i didnt see a big enough difference. i hope that helps but if you have any knowledge on the topic i could use it all!
how much better is performance if i put the cards together that way? right now, look closely as the bottom gpu. its actually right up against that ssd and the power supply shroud. my pc has been on for a while now and they sit at 55-60 degrees just with a few we pages open and a game tabbed out in the background im running while i type to you. (the bottom one is 2 degrees hotter or so) i will try to put it in the second slot there ans let you know of the temps. check back in a day or two and ilkl let you know
currently theyre at x8 each but im not sure why theyre not both x16. i thought the cpu i got with 40pcie lanes would allow them to be at x16 but idk why. im fairly new to all this high end stuff
posting neew pics of monitor right now ":)
Heres a few more photos everyone thx for the kind words!! its one heck of a machine and so far hasnt had trouble with anything FPS or graphics wise. cant really figure out my fans and whatnot but eh ill get it eventually. think i got some case fans in the cpu fan slots but ill get it worked out
i didnt read the whole thing but if you plan to play DayZ good luck........
I'm looking to do a similar build I'm I'm going with two MSI 1080s same case. From your experience with this build, how did the 1080 fit in there and how would two fit? Also was there any issue with the motherboard blocking any stowage holes for cable management? Thanks in advance. You got yourself I nice build
the card? nope nothing but the coolermaster blocked my number 1 RAM slot so im using numbers 2 and 4
The keyboard is awesome, staying bright after a years time. The mouse wheel has gotten some minor squeaking when rolling, but it comes and goes. For the price I'm very happy with it and look to upgrade to along the lines of a mechanical K70 or something. Note if you get the red one it's actually more of an orange light in the keyboard! Found that the hard way. Overall 30 bucks for it is awesome and blue is bright!!
