Its a pretty good combo, I'd say go for it!
Truthfully I love this mouse, I thought about getting a better one but I can't think of any aspect that doesn't perform well with it
I wanted to use fans better suited for use on radiators. If you're air cooling the stock ones should be fine.
Yeah it looks great, I just want something that breathes better. I end up taking the front and top panels 90% of the time because of how much heat they trap in.
Thanks! I can honestly say a custom loop in an H440 is a pain in the ***, but I think in the end it was worth it. Granted I am looking to switch into another case soon, I just can't decide on one quite yet.
If all goes according to plan, that cat will carry me straight to "featured"
Truthfully, I just took a leap of faith with the new motherboard. Sure it would've been a pain in the *** if it didn't work, but I was confident in EVGA's Q.A.
I'll let him know you approve
Planning, research, and learning was spread out over a few weeks so it wasn't that bad. The actual build took the better part of a day when I first did it. I've since drained, added parts to the loop, and had to replace a dead motherboard and I wouldn't say it was too annoying at all. The maintenance so far has been pretty easy, but the loop in it's current form has only existed for 6 months. I'd say give it a shot if you're interested, it's a pretty satisfying project.
My entire computer costs more than some peoples cars
Great, you found out I'm a cat. Now I have to skip town and start over again
Had to cut costs somewhere
Nvidia had a giveaway during gamescom back in August and I was one of the lucky few winners
I sure hope so, I think I'd need a few more +1's to get there!
Thanks! I enter every giveaway I come across and this is the only thing I've won, lucky me!
Thanks, I'm pretty proud of my work!
That depends on how quickly they can get RGB cats onto the market
haha yup, it got pretty popular over there
That cat is going to carry me right to "featured builds"
So now that you're a few months into this build, hows that 3M tape holding up with the res? I've been planning a build that may need to use it but I'm not sure if I trust it to hold.
The fans at the top should always exhaust, heat rises so you shouldn't try to fight thermodynamics.
Fractal Define S, everyone seems to love it.
My 980ti fits just fine, even if the drive bays were there it'd have plenty of room.
You're fine, it'll definitely fit. The specs page on heir website has all the info you'd need http://www.phanteks.com/Enthoo-Evolv-ATX.html
Thanks for measuring, i have some great ideas for this case. I think a powerline adapter should solve my problem and save me some space since i wont need wifi with one of those.
Thanks! I already have dual 360 radiators so I want to try an use what I have before I buy new radiators. I'd be using the top two pcie slots for a gpu and one more for a Wifi card, my slim rad should come close but the total thickness would be 51mm with fans installed.
I'm taking a look at this case right now, how much clearance is there on the bottom with a 360 radiator plus fans in push ?
Thanks! I build a custom loop in an NZXT H440 a couple months ago and it chokes the living hell out of the radiators. I've been thinking about an Enthoo Pro M, mid towers with dual 360 radiator support are tough to come by.
Is the top fan in the front starved for air at all? It doesn't look like it can intake much air.
It had an overclock, but the crash still happens when I run it at stock speeds.
Thanks, glad you like it!
It's an ATX board so 12 × 9.6 in (305 × 244 mm)
If it were half the price I'd start considering it
It's pretty cool, Hardware Cankucks just uploaded a video on it. I just wish it were MUCH cheaper.
Thanks! It took a lot of planning but I love how it came out
The 6700k is running at 4.6, I think I can get 4.7 but it's so stable where it is and I'm pretty happy with it. When I got the hybrid I had no intention of doing a custom loop, over time I eventually decided it was something I wanted to try and gave it a shot. I'm glad I did.
Well, it doesnt bug me at all. Truth be told I never even thought about it until you said something haha. There are right angled sata ports on there, but at one point i needed to unplug my sata cable and plugging it back in with the watercooling already in place was just easier with one of the ports that was facing straight up. Im suprised you even noticed.
This is my first time with Pastels, but I feel like with a lot of things in life those issues come from user error. The premix is just concentrate mixed into distilled water for you so you don't have to worry about it so there is no real difference. If you want to try it, go for it :)
I think I've hit the limit of my photographic abilities :(. I just can't seem to take any other good ones
Think it will intake air better than the H440?
Thanks! I'm so proud of my build
Thanks for the feedback! A lot of effort went into this build
I bought the hybrid when it first released and at the time i had no intention of making a custom loop. After a while I decided a custom loop was something I wanted to do and I made the change. I still had it as a hybrid solution for months before hand.
Truth be told, when I got the 980TI Hybrid i had no interest in doing a custom loop. It took months of having the card before I decided it was something I should try, but I still feel like i got my moneys worth out of the Hybrid portion of the card.
I think I will upgrade to rigid down the road, but I'll probably put it off until my next component upgrade since I'd be draining it anyways.
Thanks, I put a whole lot of work in and I'm glad to hear people like it!
As long as the top rad plus fan stay within 55mm you'll be fine but you definitely need to put the top radiator in first or it won't work. The EK predator is also an option, but I feel like it wouldn't be as satisfying.
