I use the same cooler on an i5-8600k, motherboards default turbo of 4.3 and run under load around 65c
The desk shelf is a little sketch, you're a brave soul.
Oh, I know. I have been blown away how nice it plays on PC
What kind of purrformance are you getting out of the cat?
samesies, use it myself
squat booty thicc
Sick build, overkill (extermination?) does not exist here. Also, nice RGB color choice wink
Thanks! She purrforms fairly well
Yes it did
Im in love, I wish I had extra money to build a small form factor pc just for fun
No problem, just make sure you eventually upgrade the monitor. GTX works with gsync, AMD works with freesync. Wait for a sale too, they change in price alot. My monitor retails at $560 but I wasnt in a hurry and I was able to snag it a month ago for $370 AND it came with a $100 dell store card that I used to purchase an additional SSD
I thought the zip tie was being used to secure the fans, I did that in my case to fit a 120mm radiator under one of my 3 top exhaust fans
Yeah, when you build on this website it checks compatibility. So my build is the same processor, but with a 1070ti and I run Fortnite in 1440p at 180+ frames. I run Destiny 2 around 110 fps. If I were to play in 1080p my fps would improve, but I will tell you that anything above 60 is good. Its not like on console playing some games in 30 fps vs 60 fps, after 60 it is not as noticeable in my opinion. Basically what I am saying is dont worry about every game running at 144 fps, but if you are a 1080ti is top of the line for a typical consumer.
did someone say 15hundo
New Zealand prices have me about to stroke
Since you asked for feedback, I will comment on cable management and CPU choice. You should consider cable extensions, very inexpensive and easy on the eyes. Also, use the vertical white bar to hide excess cable, and push the bottom cables into the power supply shroud. I am newer to custom builds as well, but from what I understand you have a z370 motherboard capable of overclocking and a locked processor. Had you chose the i58600k, it would be faster in base form and be able to OC well past that.
you got that crown of wonder or what
A lot of sauce.
I think I may see a zip tie
Its not even about the cooling, but for style points. "Complete" the build. You have nice RGB components and then an OE fan. There are nice coolers under $30 all day long. You're an enthusiast now, its no longer about what you "need" lol
Boi when you get an extra $60 pick up some cable extensions and a new cpu cooler, then its GG
No way the cat stays cool under load with that amount of fluff
Honestly I have not/ will not pay attention to the hardware because I am fixated on the cat +1000
Thanks! Just pick up some additional cable combs off Amazon, you already have the braided extensions. Alternatively, if you're considering new extensions, you should check out custom cables from cable mod. You can choose your own colors, which may be a nice way to add color without RGB. Shoot, maybe even add a splash of brown! Make sure you purchase the new GPU first, the power cord count may change. We have the same case, so I know for a fact cable management is fairly simple. Good luck, and be sure to update photos!
I fail to see the reasoning behind the lack of RGB insert sunglasses emoji
that wrap tho
and then cablemod or phanteks extensions
I don't have a preference for 1080 vs 1440, but I definetly am looking to get a 144hz with gsync.
Thanks! Im sure this goes for every build on here, but, it looks better in person. The pics make the case lighting appear blue, in person it's a crisp white with the blue accents. I'm happy with how it turned out, appreciate the feedback.
Thanks! I plan on upgrading the monitor, maybe around black Friday if I can set aside some money and find a deal. This is my first gaming PC, so I had to buy everything new including the peripherals.
