You have to move the RAM. Put on in every other slot, including the other side. You can't put them all on one side.

I call BS. Low res pics that anybody could snag off the internet, an unrealistic total build, and I don't know what university would spend $11K on a computer for you. Sorry, I just don't believe it. Please prove me wrong. EDIT: Already found the pic online.

Sounds all good to me! I can't thank you enough for a thorough response. I hope you enjoy your build and all the games you can play with that beast of a GPU. I can confirm from experience you will enjoy it! :)

That is very uplifting to hear from an owner of the board!I actually have the last gen processors (4670K) though I am fortunate Asus kept support for the Haswell processors before the refresh.

I have a mostly silver build with blue accents so I feel like this will fit perfectly in my system. I too was looking at the ROG boards and such but honestly I am not a huge fan of them. This color looks fantastic. One thing I would like to ask is your experience with the noise being output by the case. Since I have the same GPU, it can get a little loud in my current case. How is it in this case?

Fantastic build. I was considering swapping out my current motherboard and 350D for this case and motherboard. While I am in love with this case, I haven't read much on the motherboard. How has your experience been with it thus far?

Gotta agree with you. Saying The 800 series will be out this year is like saying Broadwell will finally stop being delayed. Ti is a long ways away. If the 800 series comes out late enough I will probably snag one as a replacement for my 780.

I too used to think the look of the 350D was a bit odd, and it is a little big for a MATX case, but having this very understated box on my desk looks super sleek. Plus is its pretty portable, though having the handles on the Prodigy is probably much easier for LAN parties and such. Luckily for you, if you really don't like your case, I am sure you can still return it since you just built the system! Thought that is up to you if you want to take it apart!

I can safely say the 350D is one of the best MATX cases I have ever owned. If you want to see how the cable management looks, take a look at some builds on this website (including mine!)

Really like the build azidhsu! Great part choices! This system will surely last you a while.

Unfortunately the H60 would not work with the G10. The G10 is only compatible with the blocks that have the circular design, so you cannot use the Corsair blocks other than the H55, and H110. I wish the Kraken X41 was 120MM! Does the H440 not fit 2 140MM fans in the front?

Comment reply on GR3YHAM's Completed Build: 1st Build, overkill...

  • 2 points

I would too. This is actually a pretty balanced system for 4K gaming. I spent in total nearly $1400 in parts where in this case I could have gotten two 290's instead of a single 780. I too am not sold on 4K gaming yet. While I would love to have a monitor, I would need a second GPU just to run games on medium to high settings. I feel like right now, 1440P is the sweet spot.

Then I saw the 4K monitor included in the price.
