It holds up well. Just don't expect it to do VR or some newer titles like FH4 or Dirt Rally 2.0 at the highest settings. And going up to 16gb of ram would be advisable.

looks pretty good. You just need to fix the cable management, and move the graphics card up to the top PCIE slot and it'll look really nice.

i have stands upstairs, i was just using the guitar and bass for some riff writing stuff, and didn't feel like bringing them up there at that moment.

So it's been a while, but i pulled the trigger on a new guitar in January. It's an all original Ibanez RG320 from 1998 in grey pewter. It's got a few dings here and there, and i had to re-setup the floyd rose on it, but it plays and sounds amazing. and best of all, it was cheap. only 130 USD, when brand new it was over 500 USD.

although i'm pretty sure a q6600 can't stand up to being thrown down a flight of stairs, drown in a sea, have a camper-van dropped on it, and be dropped from the top of a building (old top gear reference there).

I'm liking the guitars. nice to see another person who's into guitars, computers and cars. One question, what's that red Ibanez? looks awesome. I only have 1 guitar, because i'm poor. It's a Squier Strat starter pack guitar. Came with an amp, gig bag and tuner. Currently saving for an Ibanez RG321 that came up for sale in my area for $180.

God that case is beautiful. Can't say i'm a fan of the thickness of your CPU rad. also, you should've mounted it in the front. then the tubing would just be a straight shot to the radiator, but it won't affect performance, just aesthetics.

I said this before on other PC builds, but why didn't you put your graphics card in the top slot? you'll have better airflow (since your case has a PSU shroud), as well as possibly a fraction more performance.
