Epic PC with 32 GB Ram, two 980Ti's and an i7 fourth gen paired with:
a 5ms response 1080p monitor. Priorities FTW
Agreed. I need dual Xeons.
Hehe... I totally didn't forget to paste the code... (it's there now)
44 GHz!!!?? Wow man! (Lol, just change it to 4.40)
Oh, I never looked there! Thanks!
Did the R9 280 block any drive bays?
What OC software did you use on your CPU?
Thanks! I am planning on over clocking.
I'm a water cooling noob so could you tell me where you actually put the water in the H80i?
Does anyone know where you actually put the water in the Nepton 120XL :P I'm a noob at water cooling
I have to comment on the classic Coca Cola bottle on your desk. Classy!
+1 for the build too lol
I'm kind of a water cooling noob, so could you tell me where in your build you put the water? :P lol
If the computer in the build was hooked up and turned on right there, would the liquid cooling be ready to go?
When you spend $107 on fans, you know too much of your budget went into fans.
+1 for great build AND great backstory!
LEDs make the whole thing POP! XD What brand are they?
I was planning on putting Windows 8.1 on the SSD for faster startup times.
I don't think they have enough SSDs XD
Does the 212 EVO fit nicely in the case? The website says that it can't determine if the cooler fits.
In the 8th picture, there is a GTX 660 Ti
Thanks! I like it, maybe a few changes here and there, but mostly great!
The two combined sets of memory shouldn't be able to work...
about $50 or less
Golden color scheme adds a really nice touch
Is this better?
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
Do you think that the SSD is really vital to editing? The 32GB Ram is already pushing me out of my price range.
No. Thus, I'm sticking with the stock cooler.
1.) Why replace the PSU?
If I were to choose between the FX 9590 and the i7 4790K, which would you suggest?
Does the Hyper 212 Evo Fit your case just fine? Mine has a larger width, but it says it may not be compatible.
Any coolers you would suggest?
I changed the list. Do you think it's better?
I upgraded to 1ms with only 20 bucks more, and I kept the 16GB
1.) I changed the fan to a 212 EVO, but now it says the Line M case might not be compatible.
2.) I have new Team Vulcan Gold DDR3 2133 memory
3.) I now have 3TB hard drive (I might buy more in the future if my budget grows)
4.) I have seen many articles from gamers complaining that they can't play many games on Windows 8 without them crashing or playing at all, so I kind of want to stick with Windows 7.
5.) I have a new Gigabyte GTX 970
If I don't plan on overclocking, will it be okay?
I do see the cost efficiency, but there is one step further this could have gone. And still been cheaper.
I would either buy the parts and keep the PC on its side, or consult someone else, because I don't really know.
1.) I personally would go with the Rosewill Line M case, which has the motherboard screwed in at the bottom.
2.) If your case holds the motherboard on the bottom, I think it should be fine with the 280.
3.) You might want to go with a 290 for this build, considering it's only $30 dollars more right now.
I'm not an expert with computers, but these are just my opinions.
That logo tho
The 8350 comes with a cooler, and do you have any motherboard suggestions? I kind of like the one I have already.
Do you think this would be a better choice?
Would I still be able to play Arkham games with good FPS with a 8450?
I'm going to be recording games w/ DxTory, but do you think 12GB would be down for the task?
The case comes with dual fans, but do you think I should specifically get a CPU cooler?
Yours has a better graphics card, but mine has a better processor, so I think I'll stick with this.
Sorry, I fixed it.
