the define c and variations of that are fantastic cases for first time builders, that said you obviously knew what you were doing before you even built this thing

Finally realized after coming to the homepage and stairing at this system multiple times that a nintendo wii on the featured build spot is something not natural lmao then I realised it was a wii build. That's dope.

i would prob recommend 2 140s of decent quality so you can lower the rpms and have positive air pressure in the case, you always want more air coming in the case then out

Actually haven't had a good experience with those corsair sleeve bearing fans tbh, just make sure you don't strain the cable at the fan end so it doesn't disconnect at the hub like both of mine did lol (rip the sexy whale it was not fast). The rest of the parts are great.

I think the best thing for your thermals is to have the rear fan exhausting air out the back.

Comment reply on wasiful007's Completed Build: Should i upgrade?

I personally wouldn't trust patriot memory but I don't have experience with them yet so if they work out all the power to you. I would suggest buying from another brand like corsair or gskill if you can find them for a similar price.

I would personally swap that memory with a different brand of rgb sticks, is there a reason you chose them? Insane deal?

believe it or not your i7 is slower then a ryzen 3 chip, not saying that a ryzen 3 chip is slow or anything you just are probably bottlenecking your 1070.

really strange, I looked at the user manual online and it said the operating mode for a single card in slot PCIe 3.0 x16_2 is not applicable. I would assume though that it is in fact running at x16 bandwidth though so you're probobly fine. https://imgur.com/a/KIQunw9

Comment reply on Ipandasam's Completed Build: Built My First Rig!

You installed your graphics card in the wrong slot, you would want to install it in the top x16 slot. Reason for this is sometimes lower x16 slots are limited to x8 bandwidth which is most likely the case here.
