So, Im not used to being this overkill but heres the list I put together: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NyWj4n

I know little to none about headsets and what makes them good so I just went with a high rated one from sennheiser

I also put two monitors since imo, thats more than enough (Unless its a workstation), but if you want to add another go for it

At first it was pretty good, After a few months though It started making a screechy/scratchy noise when under load. Which might just be the one I received and a one time case but ya never know

I wanted to keep a fully white theme with the pc, which is why i could only go with the b360 board, I dont plan on overclocking either.

Not sure if theres a white 2060 but if there is I might go with that

I was gonna replace the fans on the aio with the other two fans

I was told the nvme was significantly faster than a "normal" ssd, so I would have put windows onto that, not sure if thats true or not

Thanks for pointing out the psu problem, didnt realize

And if you're talking about the strip of led lighting then theres a small button that controls the colours on the top of the case, it has basically every colour lol

Sorry for late reply, There is no rgb light strips on the case, the lighting you see is from the two fans that are shown on the list

I get that the "arms" hold it in place, I was just wondering if there were any fans anyone knows of that have the "arms" on the opposite side that they're usually on

Thanks, spent alot of time working on it

As for the mouse mat, Its great, It gets a bit dirty so I wash it once or twice a month. The only downside is that there are still a few wrinkles in it from packaging(Which might be a one time case) but I can live with it considering there's no other white mouse mat that's this cheap lol

Do you have any recommendations for any budget chairs? Office chairs are fine aslong as the posture is good, it's comfortable and has a neck/headrest

I'd say 1200-1300 is a good price

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XNLCFt

Here's the list I made,

I edited down the price of the ram to what It hopefully will get back down to in the future(It might be higher since idk how far in the future you're planning)

I tried my best to keep it around your budget, Windows 10 can be free as long as you're fine with a watermark and not being able to customize your background so you can take off $100 from the total if you're fine with that lol

I recommend upgrading the ram to 16gb once the prices go down

I tried to squeeze a 1060 3gb in there but it would have totaled out to $420ish so i put the 1050ti,

That ssd wont be enough by itself, So I added a 2tb hard drive

Should be able to play 1080p/60-100+fps on high settings (The difference between 60 and 100 is minimal)

I recommend upgrading the ram to 16gb in the future once the prices go down

I tried my hardest to get a decent computer, I assume you have a case lol

I replaced the cpu, gpu, ram(Since having ddr3 is really slow these days, aswell as they were two different sticks) and Motherboard(To one compatible with the i3 8100 and ddr4 ram)

This is Probably the best I can make to upgrade that pc at that price point

Shoot, I just realized I only added 2400 memory, heres an updated one with 2666(The max the i5 8400 can handle) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/w4DLw6

Its basically the same price anyways lol

I'm not sure about the resolution/fps you want but I tried my best

The system should be able to handle 1080p/60+fps on high pretty easily, I recommend upgrading the ram to 16gb once the prices go down though.

I also Made your motherboard a z370 which will allow you to upgrade your cpu to (for example) an 8600k or better in the future if you want to

I added a 1080p/144hz monitor just so you can see those extra frames that you may get out of the 1060 6gb

If you want a steady 144fps i would say go for the 1070 or 1070ti, 1060 6gb can do about 60-100, more on non demanding games

I went for a 1070ti graphics card because I thought it kind of hits a sweet spot for 1080p gaming while also future proofing.

If you want the sweet spot for 1080p gaming the 1060 6gb would do it easily, the 1070 and 1070ti are able to do 1440p/144fps fairly easily

Im not very experienced with ryzen so I have no recommendations there, other people should know a bit more lol, Just wanted to let you know about the gpus, happy building!

Made a few changes, I'm not sure if you have the ram already since it says purchased so I let it be.

I changed your motherboard to one with on-board wifi(If you use that), I changed your cooler to the cryorig h7 which is a really good cooler, cheaper too

Changed your GPU from a founders to a zotac, Its cheaper and has basically the same performance

Changed your keyboard to a strafe rgb, Its cheaper and arguably better, This is just me being picky since I've had bad experiences with razer products lol

Other than those recommendations I'd say you have a great system there

Great build for the price^

If you go with this, I recommend upgrading the 1060 3gb to a 6gb in the future, the 8400 and 1060 6gb are amazing together, You'll get buttery smooth 1080p/60+fps(probably over 100 on non demanding games).

Also, the 8400 comes with a stock heat sink, its good but I recommend getting the Cooler master Hyper 212 evo, its cheap and really good if you want some extra performance

8gb of ram is the bare minimum imo for games, so I recommend upgrading that to 16gb by adding another 8gb stick once the prices go down

Comment reply on Forum Topic "$1000 Budget PC (up to $1300 with monitor)"

Just slightly over your $1000 budget, hope thats fine lol

In the future I recommend upgrading the 1060 6gb to a 1070, the cpu should be good with the 1070 so thats fine(The 1060 6gb can handle 1080p/60fps, the 1070 should be able to get 1440p/100+fps)

I also recommend upgrading the ram to 16gb once the prices go down(Which is why I only put 1 stick of 8gb in)

The PSU should be able to handle the upgrades fine, aswell as overclocking

There's a pretty good upgrade path imo

You can upgrade the ram to 16gb, Upgrade the gpu to a 6gb(Or even a 1070 if you upgrade your cpu to an 8600k or an i7), upgrade the cpu to an i5 8400(Or 8500).

All just my suggestions for the future lol, I try to make lists with upgrading capabilities in mind

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Ive got a list but should i buy all these parts and accesories from stores other than amazon?"

Yes, some parts on amazon can be $50+ more than the one reccomended. The ones listed on the list are very reliable companies

$6 Over, not bad lol.

I was gonna put the 1060 6gb which is what i recommend but it was out of your budget. The 3gb should be fine on slightly lower settings and you'll get slightly lower fps. This system should be good for 1080p/60fps. The stock cooler should be able to handle the 8100 fine.

I only put one stick of 8gb incase you want to upgrade to 16gb in the future btw

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gFJ4Bb

(2666mhz ram is the max b360 boards can take)
