Is very quiet. The Dark Rock Pro 4 is silent, even under CPU heavy load. I will say that with the Meshify C, you will hear the fans from your GPU card when gaming, but the case is great for airflow.
Can't tell if you painted the mesh with 2 colors or it's just an effect of the light hitting the mesh at different angles. What you did to the front and top mesh looks incredible. How did you paint it? What paint did you use?
True, I do plan to upgrade it to a i7 later on.
I got a sweet deal on it. Got it for $60 which included the 1TB HDD as well.
Did you actually paint the case to that purple color? Looks real nice.
Your first build looks nice, clean, and that heatsink makes your pc look like an UFO device. Wondering if the heatsink gets in the way of the rams sticks if you where to install all 4 on the DIMMs slots?
I have the two ram sticks installed on DIMM-A2 & B2 (2nd closest slot to the cpu and the last slot) and it doesn't touch. You should be okay with all 4 rams sticks installed with this cooler as well.
Thanks, I used the Phantek RGB strips. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HUFMIZ2/
Thank you, appreciate it.
Can't agree with you more, I watched all 3 seasons and yeah it just gets more intense, insane and better overall, keep watching it!
The cooler is big, it reminds me of an engine block haha but it is very quiet (even under load) and gets the job done.
It is more silent than most air coolers. I own the Meshify C case which is very good for air flow but not great with noise, and even with this case, I still can't hear it. It was made to be quiet! - No pun intended.
One thing to keep in mind is the height of the cooler which is 163mm high. Make sure the case you buy or own has that much of a clearance for this very nice engine block.
