As did I....lol
Great build man! Looks awesome
Thanks man! I used white engine enamel for the fans, and plastidiped the gpu and ram. Looking foward to seeing your build!
Awesome build! I'm a big fan of the white theme. +1
Ps: Paint that gpu shroud white! Lol
For the fans I used a ceramic engine enamel like this one. For the ram and gpu shroud I used white plastidip
Facebook Marketplace my man :)
No complaints what so ever! I bought it used off reddit r/hardwareswap. I couldn't pass up such an excellent deal. if i were to be really nit-picky, it does occasionally make noises after being powered off. Imagine the sound of someone stepping on snow. Regardless, I would definitely check out Viotek as a cheaper alternative.
Here ya go!
Haha thank you! Your beautiful builds are amazing.
First thing I though of when I saw the title "Oh Oh Oh O'RLLLLLYYYY...Auto parts" :D
Clean build btw +1
Cable extensions are universal and can be used on just about any psu. CableMod is really expensive, but I've heard they're professional and useful if you're looking for specific colors. I couldn't justify spending that much when amazon has them for this cheap.
Awesome! Thanks for putting this together.
Looks great! Thanks for putting this together.
I didn't use it for mining lol. You guys do realize that this needs a custom loop to actually run right?
Also false lol. I never changed the discription.
Wtf are you talking about?? Yes I went through the trouble to buy a WATERCOOLED gpu, that needs a CUSTOM LOOP to mine with. That makes total sense...
How's the noise? I'm looking for something more quite than TT riing fans I currently have
I have this case, so speaking from experience. To answer your question, taping the gaps seems unnecessary as there would have to be something pushing air back through them. Im not sure how the air would be flowing in a loop. Typically you want air flowing from front to back so this would never be an issue.
However, since the front panel is so restrictive, I took it off and used the magnetic dust filter for the top two fans on the front. Dropped temps by a whopping 10 degrees!
I've been able to use the gpu shortage to my advantage. I was able to sell high and buy low. Went from a 1070 to a 1080ti.
I know your looking for a Ti, but I have a 1080 ftw for sale if interested.
Don't you also have to factor in the price of each gpu that you buy? For example: You buy 4 1080tis for $900 each, 900x4=3,600. So you would only be making a profit after you have recouped the $3,600 that you spent, in addition to the cost of electricity, correct?
So assuming that you make $600 a month mining, and power is $13 a month, you would have to mine for (at least) 6 months just to make back what you spent in gpus + the $78 accumulated from power consumption.
I've got this Monitor for sale if interested https://imgur.com/a/55key
Thinking about getting that same case. How's the airflow?
The bearings?? No. Everything was taped so no paint got on anything internal. If you're suggesting that they are louder because I opened them up, then probably so. However that wasn't my question.
Great build! I have those same fans and I removed the badges and painted them white. I noticed on mine that the higher the rpm the brighter the light will be. Have you noticed that?
Are you willing to trade for a 1080 FE + cash
I emailed him just for the hell of it. He says New York
Well said. I personally wouldn't risk it either.
Is there a price list for these parts?
I smell a feature! Incredible build!
I was wondering the same thing. It looks better imo
So you know the struggle lol. It's so hard actually using both hands separately. Everything just feels so weird and foreign.
Thanks for the info. I use DS4 Windows all the time lol. Some pc games also support Xbox as well as Dualshock natively (Fallout 4, Watchdogs 2, Destiny 2 to name a few). I've been using a controller all my life so it will take some time before I get used to M/K
Thanks for the info, I agree with you guys. M/K are definitely more accurate than a controller.
You have no idea how upset it makes me when I'm killed by someone on pc who I know I could've beaten on console lol.
Thanks. There is definitely a big learning curve for me.
Thanks for the input. How long did it take you to get used to it? Also, do you have a preference?
Yeah moving everything would definitely suck lol. I would wait until you know if you're going to be moving or not before investing. Btw what specialty are you pursuing in the medical field?
Great build with some nice quality parts bro! Glad you were able to find some Black Friday deals also. I would however invest in a larger desk if you can. I was using a small student desk for quite some time, it wasn't until recently that I finally got a nice large Ikea desk. Trust me it makes a huge difference!
I can vouch for that case. It's a pleasure to build in, especially for a newbie. Only issue I have is minimal airflow through the front panel.
Great build bro! I will always be a fan of sites like Craigslist, offer up, mercari ect. You can find some really great deals!
True. Idk how many of you have used a TN panel vs an IPS one. The difference (to me) is night and day. I hate haveing to adjust my monitor so often.
Thanks for the input. It's just most are really expensive. Idk if I'm willing to spend 500-600 dollars on a monitor. Seems like that money would be better used on something else.
Well I had a 60hz monitor before this one and now I can't go back. Plus I have a 1070 so I wouldnt be getting the using the card to its full potential. That's a good point though. I'll try turning it off and seeing if I can deal with it. Thanks
Great build! I too am a fan of the black and white scheme. That chair hurts my butt just looking at it lol
Ahh I see. It should be the same white color as the case. Unfortunately my case doesn't have that. I belive that comes with the silent edition, but i'm assuming it was like that when you bought it.
Thank for the info. Were you interested?
I'm not sure what you mean when you say the top covers.
Great build man! How was Jamaica? My girlfriend is from there
