Nice Build! How are the temps on your GPU? It looks like there's not much space for airflow.
He is seeing it in real life and you're seeing it in a picture...
He just said there is no sag...
Nice Build! But more pictures of the actual build would be nice.
Lol did he give you any extra marks?
Why are you hating on him? Its his money and he could spend it on whatever he wants. Personnaly I think it looks amazing.
Nice build! But personally I would have gotten the formula over the hero since you have a $5000 budget lol.
Nice $100 000 SSD
look at it
Get the ASUS
Right now my CPU voltage is at 1.156 V and its hovering around 3.7 Ghz and the boost clock is 3.8 Ghz.
That's great! Do you think I should overclock?
Thanks for your reply! The highest I have ever seen my GPU go to was around 70c and the highest I have seen my CPU go to was around 65c so I guess I'm good.
That's just for the CPU do you know what my GPU should be at?
I plug that in but it doesn't work I probably have to change the audio output settings in windows then.
Nice build! how are you liking the 450D? I have it and It's an amazing case. Also how did you connect your mixamp pro to your pc? I'm having some trouble connecting it.
Im using a ASUS Z87 PRO
I was using task manager to see this. Also using using CPUID HW Monitor it says the voltage of my cpu is around 1.1 volts. Does this mean anything?
This build would cost $3320.14 in Canada...
I guess I will be getting this adapter soon. Thanks for the reply!
Nice build I'm sure your son is really happy! I'm going to use that Asus PCE-N15 wireless adapter in my build for gaming. How is it?
Does it matter what its called it still removes viruses and its free...
Thanks I'll probably buy the RM series then
I want to build in the air 540 but i'm worried about not having a dust filter on the psu intake. Is there any dust build up in yours? Should I buy a dust filter.
Amazing build all you need is some leds and it'll look so cool:)
Yea i have a tn panel now and i hate the colours on this thing
its not an ips though
Thanks again! What do you think about the monitor will it be good for fps games?
I'm going to be playing FPS games mostly like Bf4. Also, I was going to do a $200 upgrade with an H100i and a few case fans at christmas when i get more money. But will this CPU cooler be sufficient for now and during the hot days in the summer?
Alright Thanks for your suggestions!
Sorry about that. It works now.
Alright thanks alot!
Thanks for the explanation :)
Thanks alot! But it looks like the Gigabyte
GA-Z87X-UD5 TH is not available at Canada Computers :(. Instead will this Wi-Fi adapter with the Asus Hero be a viable option?
Thanks for the explanation! I'll probably be going with the Asus since my local Canada Computers doesnt have the EVGA version in stock. But Thanks alot!
What's the step up program?
Also I would recommend getting RAM at a lower clock speed and voltage so it will be compatible with your CPU.
Then you should probably get 8GB or RAM. Also I think you should get an i5-4670k instead of an i7-4770k and spend the $100 on a video card as you will not be needing the power of a 4770k when your gaming
Sorry about that
Run a virus scan Malwarbytes is a great virus scanner and its free. Run a Disk Defrager with auslogics disk defrag which is also free.
Get Bitdefender Total Security and Malwarbytes (free) and you'll be great.
Bitdefender Total Security and Malwarebytes. Personally I think this is the best combination.
Personally I think the best free anti-virus is Malwarebytes. You can download it here: www.malwarebytes.org. The only thing it doesn't have is live protection. Other than that if you run it regularly and watch out for the files your downloading you should be fine
What are you going to be doing with this computer first of all? Gaming? Video editing?
I'm extremely sorry I didn't see that you had a wi-fi card. But, personally I have 16GB or RAM on my computer and Sony Vegas 12 Pro runs pretty well. Anyways its your build and your decision.
The motherboard you chose does not have ac wi-fi let alone wi-fi. This is a great motherboard and it also compatible with ac wi-fi:
Also, if your going to be doing quite alot of video editing I would recommend getting 16 GB of RAM instead of 8GB. Also you won't be needing thermal compound as it is pre-applied on the H100i. I have also looked through some BF4 forums and saw that someone has an average of 70 FPS with a GTX 770 on maxed out settings. Overall, your build is looking pretty good!
If your doing tasks that use alot of RAM such as heavy video editing, 3D modelling or photo editing I would recommend 16 GB of RAM. If your gaming (which you probably are doing from looking at your username) or doing light video editing then you should get 8 Gb of RAM.
