I have read the conversation on the website that you gave and let me tell you, that's weird.
I haven't had any problem with my motherboard and my M.2 hard drive. I installed the M.2, connected a USB with the Windows 10 installation and that's it, everything went fine until the end.
If you tried with different M.2 and none of them worked, maybe your motherboard is defective?, try to send an email to ASRock or replace your motherboard if you can.
Also, update your BIOS to the latest version.
Thanks my friend.
Because I have 62-70C gaming which is good. Besides, I had bought the C7 already. Maybe in the future I can sell it to buy the scythe.
I have the Node 202 and my temps are good, 34c idle and 61-70c gaming using a Cryorig C7. I wanted the NCASE M1 too but, it's expensive for me. You can check out my build here: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/rqpG3C
Your PC is awesome by the way.
What screws are those that you used to give support to the GPU?, I want to do the same.
What happened with the GPU support bracket?, the fans of the GPU is not touching the fans of the bottom?. What about your temps, the two fans at the bottom helps the GPU?. By how much?.
I prefer the Corsair SF600. It has two PCIe 6+2 Connector, you will be covered, don't worry. Look at photos of the cables of the PSU on Internet and you will see them to confirm the information.
How good is your GPU, I want to buy the same model to play games at 1080p 60hz but, I want opinions first. What games do you play and what are your settings and your FPS?
I had contacted ASRock about this issue because I wanted my CPU to hit its max speed. They told me this:
Please refer following steps to setting to try.
Step 1. Please press hotkey “F2” or “Delete” during POST to get into BIOS.
Step 2. Please select “CPU Configuration” in the Advanced.
Step 3. Please Enabled “CPU C3 State Support”.
Step 4. Please press hotkey “F10” to save configuration.
I did that and now it's working at max speed. I don't know why that option is disabled by default if we need it to have our CPU running at max speed. But the good thing is that is working good now.
What about the GHz of the processor, your cpu hits 4.2ghz?
Hi, Your CPU gets 4.2GHz on all cores while gaming or when doing intensive tasks?, I have the same motherboard and processor but, mine doesn't hit 4.2GHz, I don't know why. I want to know if I'm the only one with this issue.
Hi, Your CPU gets 4.5GHz on all cores while gaming or when doing intensive tasks?, I have the same motherboard and processor but, mine doesn't hit 4.5GHz, I don't know why. I want to know if I'm the only one with this issue.
Hi, Your CPU gets 4.1GHz on all cores while gaming or when doing intensive tasks?, I have the same motherboard and processor but, mine doesn't hit 4.1GHz, I don't know why. I want to know if I'm the only one with this issue.
You will have better temps than me because I live in a hot country. My room temp is 29 C.
This case supports any graphics card you want to install, FE, ROG STRIX, MSI GAMING X, etc.. There is some users with a GTX1080 Ti inside of it, you can see those builds here on PCPARTPICKER. This case came with two-piece PCIe riser card. I had uploaded photos of the GPU with the two-piece PCIe riser card, you can see it here on the photos of my build. If you want to see more details about it, every angle possible, I recommend you to check out reviews about the case, all reviewers upload photos of the two-piece PCIe riser card. It's easy to install by the way, just a few steps.
My temps are high too, that's why I'm asking you about your temps to see if it's only me with this temp problem. I have 70-75-80C while playing games. We all know that Kaby Lake is hotter than others so, maybe I will delidding the CPU to decrease temps and to see if the CPU can jump to 4.2GHz. I had an Asus H270F with a Cryorig H7 and I saw 4.2GHz while playing games but now, I see just 4.0GHz.
Your CPU gets 4.2GHz on all cores while gaming or when doing intensive tasks?
I have the same processor/case/cpu cooler, power supply, as you.
What are your temperatures while playing games?. Also, your CPU is hitting 4.2GHz while gaming or just 4.0GHz?. My CPU doesn't pass 4.0GHz, I don't know why.
My build: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/rqpG3C
No, the case is solid and stable. My GPU at idle is 39 and at load it depends on the game, the task you are doing but, gaming I have 62-75C because I have the VSYNC ON and I play games at 1080p. The GPU doesn't need to run at max.
Thanks for the explanation. What do I need check in BIOS about the CPU?, for some reason the CPU is not hitting 4.2.
I'm getting 81C at load right now as maximum and 70-75C while gaming. My CPU is not hitting 4.2GHz, just 4.0GHz, maybe because of the temperature?. mmmm..... this is not good...
Your CPU is not powerful enough to play the latest games of today to have a lot of FPS using Ultra settings. Well, everyone has different budgets. Nice PC by the way, cheap one, at least you can use your PC and play some games without problem.
and what pc do you have?, the total price of my build is normal, is not exaggerated.
Thanks!, I'm glad you like it.
The thing with the cable of the mouse is that I tried connecting the cable at the back of the case but, the cable around the case looked ugly to me and that's why I decided to connect it at the front. hahaha!
I'm not rich, I can't afford the price of those SSD. The seagate 5TB 2.5" has 15mm and the hdd cage of my case only supports 14mm.
I had the Corsair Gaming K70 MX Brown before but, I didn't get used to it, sadly. I sold it and I kept using my old keyboard from Dell, the one in my photos, I love it for gaming and typing.
Thanks a lot my friend, I did my best with this build. I saw your last build with the Node 202, let me ask you something, how well is the temperature of your CPU after delidding it?.A friend has the tool to delid a CPU but, I'm not pretty sure to do it, I have fear haha!.
Yeah, it was great, a friend sold it to me very cheap
I wanted one of them, 5TB but, I called Fractal Design and I asked them if the Seagate 5TB 15mm will fit and they said: we are not sure but the HDD cage supports up to 14mm, sadly. :(
The 5TB 2.5-inch hard drives are wider and the HDD cage of my case is not big enough to fit those drives in it. The HDD cage supports hard drives up to 14mm and the Seagate 5TB is 15mm.
Thanks my friend!. I have no plans to buy a better monitor but, If I see a good deal any day, I will grab a 2K 27" monitor for gaming and for work. Besides, the GTX1060/1070 was not available for purchase locally, was a reason to buy the GTX1080 to my friend.
Thanks my friend!. I have no plans to buy a better monitor but, If I see a good deal any day, I will grab a 2K 27" monitor for gaming and for work.
I paid $249.99 for the monitor and the difference was for One Day Shipping, I was desperate to have it.
I have the Samsung 960 EVO, that is a M.2 SSD NVMe. See the photos of my build and the part is on the list too.
I don't have plans to buy a better monitor. I got the GTX1080 very cheap, as if it were a GTX1070. I like and I enjoy 1080p so far.
You could change the CPU Cooler, I bought the Cryorig C7 and it's awesome and you can connect the USB 3.0 cable with this cooler. Last resource, changing the motherboard with a different location of the USB 3.0 header. I bought the ASRock H270M-ITX/ac. It's a shame that you can not use the USB 3.0 header.
What happened with your USB 3.0 cable?, why you didn't connect it?. I can see there is not enough space to connect the cable.
The fan under the turbine of the GPU, helped you to decrease temps, have you tested it?.
