How is it irrelevant? If you mean the 670 performs better than yes... but it's only irrelevant if you started comparing your CPU to a toaster.

Considering a 690 is two 680 GPUs stuck onto one PCB, no. Maybe if you got really good cards, and then got really lucky with highly overclockable cards, but even then, you almost certainly won`t reach it.

I agree with everyone but the windows 8 statement. Windows 8 is amazing when you get used to it. It actually cut the boot times of my pc down to 13 seconds from 21 (dell laptop).

I moved it right before you said that, I moved it because I thought I would block the Sata ports, but it doesn't so now it is in the correct spot.

Haha yeah, that mouse pad has served me well. I don't play many CPU intensive games, so I don't think it will be that much of a problem, especially if I can find out how to overclock.

Okay what? A 670 comes within 5 FPS of a 680 on a lot of games... a 7950 can come very cheap right now... as well as 670s.
