Yes, the desk is basically a kitchen counter top with some IKEA cabinets that was part of this already made office when we moved into the house. I would like to change it down the road but for now it works. Thank you for the kind feedback!

Thank you for the great feedback! Yes Darkside products are great. I bought them through Dazmode site (https://www.dazmode.com/store/) Great service and located in Canada too which was the main reason I went with them. It ended up less than 1/2 the cost to buy the same parts through Cablemod's site. Thanks again!

Awesome clean build! Love that you made a custom PSU Shroud and up the side too. I am looking to do that for my build too. I am thinking to do it in 1/8" aluminum sheet and using a carbon fiber vinyl wrap for it or just painting it plain black. I see you also put a support post for the GPU. Do you have any vibration issues with this post?

Nice Build! Were you able to get the Dark Rock Pro 3 to sit properly on the Mark 1 Mobo? I saw another build with just the Dark Rock 3 and they had to turn it sideways because it was hitting the top of the board. thanks in advance!

Nice! Enjoy! I've decided to go with a Samsung 850 Evo 1TB on sale for Black Friday:

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/RbvZxr/samsung-internal-hard-drive-mz75e1t0bam

From what I read, the difference will not be that noticeable in everyday tasks and i'd rather have more space. hopefully the M.2 drives will decrease in price in the next year or two.

Awesome Build! I am planning to get the Sabertooth Mark 1 as well. Were you able to get the 3000mhz DDR4 Corsair Dominator platinums to work? I ask because the mobo indicates 2133/2400 capability. May I ask what you did to avoid issues using the 3000mhz. Did you also end up installing the two small fans on the mobo as well? I would greatly appreciate your advice for my build. You can see my proposed build below for your reference. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/9yQfhq

Hi Hammer182, Thank you for your reply. Thank you for letting me know and hope your build goes well. Yes i noticed the set-up seems the same at the back however as mentioned above my concern is that the center to center distance between the R1 Universal & R1 Ultimate is 4.5mm which could push it back far enough. I have emailed Cryorig as well to see if they can confirm it fits. I May just wait until the new H7 Quad Lumi comes out. Thanks again!

Hi Vagabond139,

Thank you for your feedback, couple questions:

  1. GPU - the EVGA GTX 1060 6GB SC from what I understand does have the heatpipes whereas the (Non-SC) version does not. Do you still recommend 2 fans ones?

  2. I was able to find the 8GB single stick: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/8hM323/kingston-memory-hx421c14fb8

  3. What product would you recommend for the CPU cooler in this case? Sounds like you are pro HSF ones? be quiet dark pro 3? My concern with HSF ones is interference with ram sticks.

  4. I am ok with the little bit of brown in the Mobo.

Hi, cool build! question for you regarding the CPU cooler. Looking to get i7-6700K cpu and Asus Z170A mobo. Does the be quiet! Dark Rock 3 67.8 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing CPU Cooler allow you to access the ram slots without having to remove it or does it go over it? is there a restriction in ram height? how did you find the noise of this CPU cooler? Thanks in advance!
