550w will work fine, but in the future might be pushing it tight if you upgrade. If you can afford a 650 or 750w PSU, definitely get it, but if you have to sacrifice other components or can't afford it i wouldn't be worried.

  1. Its hardish to do unless you want it to run at high voltages

I would not go intel TBH. They have a lot of really serious exploits

AMD Is more secure, plus, if you can wait till 7/7/19 they are releasing Ryzen 3000, up to 16 cores and should beat intel even in IPC and single core
