meamick, don't worry, you were ripped off with the 60hz monitor; yet, you were not ripped off for the 144hz monitor :)

Not entirely... on the current monitor market, the 60hz monitor was a high price; however, the 144hz monitor, not as high. The majority of 144hz monitors in Q3 2017 to Q2 2018 have been around $200~$400 so the Asus monitor is at a happy medium with the $299.00 price. Take note that this monitor is also 27.0" and the majority of those can run you MSRP $500. In the end, you didn't blow all of your money on the monitors; however, I would suggest to look further into competitors an d their prices when finding another as your 60hz monitor is of a rip-off price.

(As seen in picture number four) Off to the right of the fans, there is the ovular cutouts that look like the walls of the death star and the lighting inside the station. I wonder if you could get acrylic and use acrylic glue to blur out the clearness of it and throw some white leds behind it in order to give off that same effect. Another BEAUTIFUL Shift X Build! +1 I swear to god, Every Phanteks Shift X build gets featured because these things are soooooo sleek. This computer has many hard hitting components that are pristine in almost every way! From the powerhouse of a GPU, to the motherboard that is the top of the top of the top of the line, this rig is the holy grail of an HTPC! I must say that I am a little biased since I am financing my own shift x build for personal use and that case makes the entire pc something absolutely mouth-dropping! From the acrylic glass on both sides, to the vertical height of the case, and to the sharp metallic finish on the sides; overall, this computer is a masterpiece with just that case alone! Yet, the high performing components go over the edge with a mix of power and quality! All in all, I have to say that this HTPC is a beautiful piece of work and the overall look is incredile! Well done!

By chance, do you play Star Citizen I'm trying to buy the same ram since I'll get one 16gb stick and then 4 months later I'll get another. I just wanted to know if the game runs nicely on your computer with just one memory stick to handle the entire load. I know that 1 stick will do virtually the same process as 2 but I just want to know how it performs incase that isn't the case. Thank you if you can help! (Also, nice rig man!)

To be entirely honest with you, you won't really ever need more than 8gb of ram unless you're playing games like Star Citizen. If you play ghost recon wildlands, rocket league, cs:go, arma 3, or just literally anything on steam, you will not need more than 8 gb of ddr4 2400 ram. You will save yourself $115.00 (based off of a higher average price for 8 gb of this type of memory). I hope this little bit of information helps you out with your build. P.S Make sure to get 2 x 4 gb sticks UNLESS you plan to upgrade from 1 x 8gb stick to another for a dual 8 gb stick arrangement within 6 months

Happy Building!

Shimmering Rig of Glory! +1 Tony! Holy crap man! This monster looks absolutely devastating! Head to toe, the components absolutely crush any task in it's way in rampage! From the Cpu, to the memory, to the motherboard, to the storage, and the Gpus. Damn. There are no low points are alternatives in this rig, every part is pristine and of the best quality and manufacturer. Your loops looks BEAUTIFUL.. the colorwave of this beast is also incredible, with its blooming and vibrant colors that are absolute eye candy! Just wow. Hold on a second, let me rephrase that... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Keep. Up. The. Good. Work. Seriously! (Edit) HOLD ON A MINUTEEE... I took a second look at your loop just to see the quality of it --because holy crap niceeee-- and I noticed that you have 2 sperate loops in your build.... DAMMMNNNNN! Beautiful job man!

Another beautiful ITX +1 I'm loving these ITX builds! From the overall sleek look down to the high quality components, every aspect of this build is a great investment that --to me-- looks like a hell of a lot of fun to be running off of. The data setup looks very nice, I like how the majority of the storage is used with an hdd; however, there is plenty of ssd space to maximize your storage needs. The gpu is lookin' beautiful --as, of course, a 1080 should-- as well as the cpu that has a very proficient core clocking. Last but not least, the case is a high quality, sleek, and bold piece of hardware that truly showcases components in the sexiest way possible! All in all, this rig looks great and is everything and anything a pc user should need/want! Well done, keep up the great work!

Evil Masterpiece! +1 DeadPuppet, nice fricken job my good man! The theme of this build tops every other! I have never seen such a well done build with this theme! I have most certainly seen some Joker-styled builds in my lifetime on pcpp; however, this one turned out the best out of any of them! Besides the theme, the components in this artwork are exceptional! The cpu is economically high performing and the graphics card is another great piece of hardware that can really tear things up (per say) and can truly get the job done! I'm a big fan of the graphic on the gpu plate (of course, when it's on the lower sector of the case --the psu shroud/cable housing-- and the front as well). The "ha ha ha" graphics all over the case look really good too! Overall, well done! This rig is definitely an accomplishment to be proud of! Keep up the good work!

HOLY S@#% +1 WOW. What a unique and altogether captivating build! This rig looks annihilating! The components, let alone the cpu, are absolutely devastating in performance! The graphics cards look dominating as well! I have one question for you, how the &#$@ could you afford all of this!!?! I mean come on man! The benchtable has got to be the single most beautiful, custom mod I have ever seen a computer built on! The loop is also so so so so sexy! It adds so much more to the build with the loop INSIDE the actual benchtable! The color scheme and overall theme of this rig has me dumbfounded, I absolutely love how every (incredibly overkill) component molds together into one astonishingly beautiful and mind captivating build! Also, the showcasing of this build was exceedingly well done! Bravo!!! Keep up the good work, seriously!

An orange devastation! +1 This build looks incredible with exceptional components! The cpu is economically efficient as well as the storage setup. I like how many tb you have in data with both a hdd and ssd, it makes sense for a build of this much "power" per say. The loop you built is, to say the least, beautiful! I also have an orange setup (and plan on building a new rig too, orange) and I gotta say that builds with this color stands out the most in the crowd and really steals the show! Also, making a rig with acrylic tubing is a hard task to accomplish, so kudos for taking on that challenge! Another thing to take note of is the custom graphic you have on the glass of your case, it looks sleek and fits perfectly with the overall look. All in all, great job building this monstrosity and keep up the amazing work!

OOOoooohhhhhh, do I see a featured build???? +1 Wow! This rig looks INCREDIBLE! The showcasing alone is pristine! The components are also very intelligently picked; for example, the GPU and CPU are both high end components, they are just more economical models (or, for the gpu at least, they look veryyyy niceeee). The loop is an artic blast from the future, the overall look is out of this world! I love the mix of bright white lights with a clear fluid, it looks absolutely jaw dropping! All in all, this build is extremely cool and will catch anyone's eyes who is nearby! Keep up the good work!

Not your ordinary ITX +1 I'd like to start off by saying that this is my all time favorite ITX case, sooooo I might be just a tiny bit biased in this feedback. First off, I love the loop and the vibrance of the liquid. One thing I will say that I am not the greatest fan of is how the loop comes out of the case; therefore, this makes the side panel stick out a bit. However, this is a very unique feature that still looks very cool nonetheless. I love the components you selected, you chose an extremely high end GPU with all the "bells & whistles". I also like the ram that you chose, as it has a great balance of cache and storage (per say) inside of it. Overall, this build looks extremely sexy and sleek with a great color theme and has some dominating components that build it up to its exceptional performance. As a side note, I realllyyyy like that monitor you chose too, it's nicely sized :)

I like the overall ability to change the entire theme of the build just with the rgb coling of the fans; that is something you don't get to see very much! I also like the RSI mat that you had your graphics card laying on! I hope it's fun and smooth rendering and playing that game with the new rig you have! +1

DANNNGGGG +1 Holy crap! What a build with a bold and beautiful theme! Not to mention, the components within this rig are absolutely devastating! One thing I would like to point out is that it says you paid $0.00 for your build --and hey if that's the case then you are one hell of a lucky guy right now hahaha. Another point I would like to mention is the GPU, that monster is sexy as hell and performs like, well, Poseidon himself! The colors that vibrantly pop all over your rig are spectacular (personally those are my favorite two colors within a pair)! In the end, this rig is well planned, and beautifully displayed as one full piece of work that not only showcases exceptional parts, but gives other builders motivation to step up their own game in building their rigs. ign 10/10 (If gamers didn't understand what everything I just wrote meant lol)

OOoooo AHhhhhh +1 Well done with the build! The lighting nad RGB effects are absolutely stunning and a feature is well deserved! Not to mention, the components are pristine; although, I will say that I don't enjoy the $200+ price tag of your ssd (You gotta pay for high quality though, I guess). As a fellow 17 year old, I gotta say, I'm loving what you've done with your build and the overall story that went with it. I understand you struggle in supplying the funds for a build and my god does it take longer than either of us would think (lol). All in all, I'm loving the loop, the lighting, the theme, and the acrylic siding with the "Mirror" tittling. Good frickin show, my good man!

B&W For The Win! +1 This rig has an exceptional selection of components all thrown together into a sleek & classy build. I love the overall simplicity of the build that beholds such immense power without anyone really knowing it without a closer look. I mean the cpu cooler is sort of a dead give away that something incredible is going on with this build, but that would be easier for a fellow builder rather than the common eye. All in all, well done with this build! I Love the theme and I'm loving that monitor!

You crushed it! +1 Holy crap man! Where do I start!?! This rig is showcased beautifully with high quality shots that you don't see every day on pcpp. The components in this artwork are semi-solid, I would say the only non-overkill part that everyone drools over is your gpu but I will give credit for intelligently using a gtx 900 series card in one of the most effective ways! An to top things off, your loop is mind boggling! That is the most perfect use of yellow/golden fittings I've ever seen to date! The mix of colors is also something to take note of, because WOW did you nail the theme down incredibly! All in all, this rig is exceptionally beautiful and is the core reason of why pcpp is around, to display wondrous works of power combined with art for the world to glorify! Just do me a favor, give yourself a nice big pat on the back, because my god do you deserve a lot of those! Have a great day & keep on building!!!

Basically, it's gonna be a little while until we see some reasonable prices. My forecast is by the summer prices will finally see a glimpse of lowering.
