TettenMan's Completed Build: Project Under the Rainbow - Parallel loop config Custom Build

Obamas.mama 3 Builds 1 point 9 months ago

I'm really confused by your loop coming from your gpu to the right, why does it look like a 16mm tube going into a 14mm tube?

Wait... There's no way you can hit 5.1 with that tiny cooler...

kemsprite's Completed Build: Star Wars build

Obamas.mama 3 Builds 1 point 9 months ago

There's no reason to upgrade unless it's to an i7 or you need multicore processing. How the hell did you not 5.1 with that? Haha

Can I get a closer picture of your cables right next to the motherboard?

TURTLESwSHOES's Completed Build: Armadura de la Tortuga v4

Obamas.mama 3 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

I recently purchased cables from cablemod and my atx cable is really messy and inconsistent by the motherboard, and I have 3 extra cables that won't fit in my cable combs. Are you having that problem?

bmccarthy8989's Completed Build: Miami Hurricanes

Obamas.mama 3 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Hey! You may not see this but I was just curious, I just got my cablemod cables for this PSU and was wondering how you god your cables next to you motherboard to be so straight and with combs. Sitting here with 3 extra cables and some parts with cables coming out of the same hole and am having a hard time making it look good. Thanks for your help!

Obamas.mama 3 Builds 3 points 10 months ago

Honestly you should only upgrade if you even see the CPU hit 100% load while gaming. And I doubt you'll see that with an 8400

Benman9245's Completed Build: First time ever building a PC. I got really lucky.

Obamas.mama 3 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

I think the 8400 and x62 was a fine choice. Nice build man

Obamas.mama's Completed Build: This will hold me off for a while... Maybe

Obamas.mama submitter 3 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

That is sufficient airflow for both rads which is good, as long as you have a dust filter on all of your intake fans it will work perfectly. If it were me I would personally have 2 intake in the front and CPU rad on top and gpu rad on back both as exhaust. Just because it's easier to have dust fill the filter on the top. Hope this helps.

You should flip your top fans so you have your airflow going in one direction so they're not fighting for air. Other than that, nice build!

Hey thanks man! I'm in love with the case too. The case has a major flaw in my opinion (airflow up top) but it's not a huge deal. Great case to work in though.

Actually it's being controlled from the cases fan controller so I can turn it up and down with the switch on the front. And yes I tucked the gpu fan cable into the shroud. Thanks!
