My first thought was $1300 listing price , $1200 bottom line, is that ridiculous?

I know this is a rather low power build but I do recommend you get that power supply out of there sooner or later as I believe it had quite a few ripple suppression issues. The EVGA GQ is semi modular, an excellent unit, and won't destroy your wallet

Why a GT 710? I think the integrated graphics are better than the 710. I'm pretty sure 710s are meant for people with like xeons or fx who don't need good graphics but don't have an iGPU

I think since you're currently at 1080p that a GTX 1060 will be fine. If you plan to upgrade to 4K any time soon, a GTX 1070, 1080, or waiting for the 1080ti would do a better job at dodging being obsolete at higher resolutions. If you're going team red I would honestly wait for the RX 490.

The first thing of yours I would upgrade would be that GPU, it may seem pretty standard but if you get one of the new 10 series cards, you'd be amazed how many pixels they can pump out

I promise once you hit silver elite, it will be a lot easier. All the smurfs are in either s2-4 or gn1-wherever. You'll have to win more games to get from SEM to GN1 but they will be easier. I say this as a person who was silver 2 for 6 months and within 2 weeks I got to gn2. I'm an MG1 now :)

Honestly Trump is a terrible person and would make a terrible president

Hillary is a terrible person but she would do quite well in office

Sadly I'm too young to vote however if I could my vote would be for Jill Stein Green Party candidate

(Also Bernie is technically not out quite yet, the DNC forces him to endorse HRC and threatened to take his speaking spot away on the convention floor. He only endorsed her so he could take his fight for the nomination as far as he can)

I hate to be that guy but I think the integrated graphics in that pentium are better than a gt 710 card. Even if they're better, I wouldn't think it's even noticeable enough at that low of a tier that it be worth the upgrade

EVGA g2, P2, GQ, GS, are exceptional units to replace your current one with. Id recommend the GS because of theh price and its smaller size, slightly lower quality than the G2 but still a massive improvement over your current PSU

Very nice and clean build!

What you said about the 6850K not being worth the extra $200 for the .2 ghz is both right and wrong, the 6850K has a full 40 PCI lanes while the 6800K has 28. This means that 1 graphics card will run on PCI x16 on both processors but with 2 GPUs, it would have to use PCI x8 each because of the lack in lanes. Having both cards on PCI x16 on the 6850K means higher bandwidth between cards which is nice for higher resolution gaming

TL;DR

If you use SLI its worth the extra $200 but since you arent you made the right choice, just dont call something a bad value for what it only appears to be
