not bad but I wanted to overclock and for $800 i could get an i5 3470 and a cheap mobo with an 7970 but that is not overclocking.

Thanks, I started to work with a pvr for consoles, but its too much work, and I have to work with an iMac on top of that, I am just trying my best to save up for it with summer and all and good luck, and please don't torrent for anything, my friend got a virus from it and his google chrome won't work, nothing. Don't be like my friend, lol.

Yea more power doesn't hurt, but I believe your psu runs more efficient at 80% or more load

1000 watt psu is way too much for your parts listed, also I'm not sure if cougar is reliable brand, could of went with a corsair, sea sonic, or xfx

It would be very hot, so you could look into a high performance cooling, you wouldn't want to lose them from over heating

You may want to get 2 tb hard drive for recording, because recording in 1080p will make huge files and before you know it, that tb is gone

put a h100 in this build option, downgrade the psu to a 750 watt or 850 watt, western digital black edition, and i feel that there will be no use in that cpu or motherboard
