She thought that the cables would get damaged, she was used to our old computer that had no cable management. I still did it because it is so beautiful when you do it.

Now I a reason to get robbed on the public bus :D. I can show my friends builds instead of saying, "I'll email it later to you." Awesome, Love it. Keep Going and take over the PC community and rule the world in small increments, hehe.

If he can't see a screen tear, then I highly doubt that he would notice the difference of 60 to 120Hz monitors.

Believe me, I tried what everyone has said in this forum, he just won't listen. I'm trying to save him from wasting a whole lot of money from this. He also plays a lot of Arma 2 and DayZ, and I told him that those games are not optimize and that he may get the same performance as a 770 or maybe even lower.

We mostly play source games, but some other non-source games go over the refresh rate of the monitor, so he would get screen tear but he won't notice. I found videos and screenshots and he still believes that it doesn't exist. I offered to go to his house personally to show him. But I do know that Payday 2 is really bad with screen tear, I told him to get.

To be honest, I would get a 144Hz monitor but I just don't like the viewing angle and the colors. If I had money to throw away, I would get both but I can't really do that. Might just go with the 144Hz

This is a really difficult situation for me. Can't decide to go 144 Hz or 1440p. It's all mixed reviews. They were saying to get both, 144 Hz for competitive gaming, and 1440p for eye candy games like Tomb Raider.

I like the example you used. As of right now, I'm using an IPS monitor and love it. I hate V-Sync for the life of me and would take screen tear. Would like to upgrade to 144 Hz, but I don't like TN panels and 1440p is pretty close.

I know they have tri-monitor setups that work with the game, I don't see why not.

I've been looking at the QNIX monitor for some time, but I don't know how I would feel with a 1440p monitor for Counter Strike games which I play most of the time, I understand the overclocking the hz of the monitor. Should I just get a QNIX monitor or just go for the usually 144Hz. I do play a wide variety of games that take up my GPU power, like Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs. If I do go for either one, I would most likely have to grab a second 770 when the new GPUs release and the 770 would drop more in price soon after.

a delidded processor means taking the copper metal on the top off and clean the thermal paste off of it, and put your own thermal paste for better temps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ppql7sTmQIc

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-gtx670dcmoc2gd5 How about a low profile 670, which is still a great card to run games at high to max settings.

His temps are really good, I don't think he needs to delid his processor, plus delidding is a scary thing to do for your first time. By the way, nice build, the gold is organismic.

Linus said the a 450 watt was enough for a 4770k and 780, I've also heard that a 750 watt can power two 770s but not sure about 780, maybe. If with 760 sli, you would have enough room to overclock.

I don't think it gets too hot but it does force the air to go through the exhaust, don't quote me on this. I left mine on and hope to buy one more intake and two more exhaust fans from noctua, maybe the whole case with noctua.

I was looking at the i7 but I thought why got that when I will not use it to it's full advantage yet, maybe in 2 years or 3. I will try my best and post a lot of videos, so that's why I went with the 2 TB HDD. For the Windows 8 Pro, on Mac it had a problem mounting the software on the USB, so I told him to do it, but I have installed on the PC now and is working perfectly. And for the CPU cooler, it is a beast and smexy.

I heard that the stock grease is actually really good and you don't need to get a better one but change it every 6-12 months. My fan is too quiet that I had to open my case to make sure it is still running, but when you push it to its limits, it gets a little loud but not too crazy.

Yea that is what mostly happened, when I tested the CPU it would be around 60-65 and when it hits 90% memory usage, that rises up to the 70`s

I have not OC yet but I wanted to do a nice OC to 4.0 GHZ maybe 4.2, I used the thermal paste that came with the cooler and i built the PC about a week and a half ago so maybe it didnt break in.
