if youre talking about leaving it on, then you might have an issue. best way to optimize it is to downclock it and reduce harddrive activity. that is if youre leaving it on.

if not, then its fine. the computer doesnt need to be on ever so often. you can leave your house comfortably now :)

People hate based on what experience? Most of them are fan boys, but a few are there to genuinely dissuade you from getting garbage that breaks your garbage.

Going with the APU :) DISCRETE class graphics (yes I have benchmarked em, league plays surprisingly well), quad core, all on the same die :)

http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/windows-and-office/override-the-4gb-memory-barrier-on-32-bit-windows-81-systems/#.

did some research, turns out you can increase from 32bit to 36bit memory adressing. But you may have to sacrifice SOME compatibility with SOME applications. bookmarked :P

i understand, but the cpu motherboard is in many people's opinion not optimal. the h87 does not allow you to overclock, where as the 4670k is meant to be overclocked. switch either the motherboard or cpu as i have suggested and that will be perfect, trust me on this one!!

Comment reply on Mincading's Completed Build: LinusCatNips

Looks okay, couple things though.

Switch the motherboard to a z87 chip set if you want to keep the 4670k, otherwise change the CPU to the 4670.

I would suggest a better video card. The 660, 660ti aren't that great for long term update for games. It WILL be outdated soon. I suggest a 760, but if your budget does not allow, go for the AMD r7/r8 site of GPUs.

Lastly, this isn't a mini itx machine, this is micro atx. Just pointing that out :) hope this helps!

Sweet! Make sure you get good RAM, PS you may get occasional 55 FPS in team fights. Shouldn't be too big of an issue. Turn down the settings a bit and you'll be okay. Good luck!
