Cooler he has was around 9 euros
Yea I have the C7, looks awesome, but that is nearly 3 times the cost.
The Hue+ really brings your build to the next level! I'm hesitant to get one based on the reviews, but how has your experience been with it? Also for anyone else who admires this gorgeous build, the MSI Bazooka MOBO is more budget friendly and still has the black and white scheme going on, but no overclocking or SLI/XFire potential.
That CPU cooler isn't "crappy", it's on par or better than stock. It is for aesthetics seeing as the CPU itself isn't overclockable. What would you recommend though?
Man I want to make this exact build now, I love the expandability! HDD matches the CPU fan too lol, was that planned?
Sick idea! The sticker looks way better than a stencil. IYAAYAS
Dave Franco is SO hot. +1 just for the description hahaha, and I think you made great choices all around.
Builds like this are truly inspirational, thanks for your dedication. It really shows.
Wow that color scheme is honestly stunning, I love it. I believe you will enjoy the power and versatility of this build, great job and congratulations! Did you get a new Hue+ that works?
Performance wise, you definitely do not need a new CPU cooler. If you are going for aesthetics and performance, may I suggest the Cryorig C7. For overclocking, the Hyper 212 will be better (I don't believe it's possible to OC with your setup), but I really don't think they look good in windowed cases. The C7 would look pretty sweet with your RAM and GPU! I have one on my i5-6500, temps never go above 50C under heavy gaming loads (BF4, GTA5, Rust etc). Overwatch and LoL are not demanding titles at all. Your GPU choice is perfect for your needs, great choices all around :)
Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica.
+1 for all the parts, I think you made awesome choices all round. I'm not really familiar with CAD but it looks like you got really good prices on everything.
Yea the 7700k has heating issues. I've seen examples where people get ~15 degrees less temps after delidding.
Counter Strike can be run with a potato powered by a hamster wheel and H1Z1 is still in Alpha
I believe the stock fans the S340 comes with are black. The PSU shroud is part of the case.
You could try getting a fan header/controller. You can get one that connects to a molex and have all of your fan wires run in the cable management part of your case. Basically it would connect all your fans directly to your PSU, instead of connecting them to the mobo.
Check out Fractal Design. I just built in an Arc Mini R2, nothing but good things to say about it, and it ticks all your boxes previously mentioned. The 88R is also a really cool case, and I love Corsair.
Because the 1000 series wasn't released yet in 2013. Read the description.
You are definitely right, that is what I think of too, especially in this context. "Midrange budget build" would be a less clickbaity title :p I just thought it was funny how the title warranted a response from like 10 people.
Nice man, I just built my first one with the same processor and gpu. I love the gpu tbh, so much better looking than the pictures.
Do you have any LED strips in there or is it just the fans producing all that light? I was curious how bright and white those Corsair fans are :) gorgeous build, man.
Budget is not synonymous with cheap, but the title seems to have that implication.
