Ha -Ha, u have no idea what u can do on Pc part picker. lol

ahem ive been on PCPP for over a year and have studied a lot online don't tell me I'm a noob on here, plus ive helped many others on here with budget builds. I didn't mean to say I had no idea but more that you could put a decent PC with a 1080 ti at that price

hmm.. impressive, the only thing is there is no SSD, but at this price I wouldn't expect to fit it

Oh that clears it up, I know, and the kraken x52 has a very similar/same thickness as the h100i, plus look online for comparisons between the two, you will find that the kraken is better with pump and fans as well as a bit quieter

Comment reply on Forum Topic "2000$ List. Any changes recommended?"

  • 1 point

They are much newer and more efficient, plus your budget can fit them quite easily

but isn't mostly down to rad thickness and pump power after that?

I don't quite understand what you mean by that

Comment reply on Forum Topic "2000$ List. Any changes recommended?"

  • 1 point

Id say you could probably fit in the kraken x62/x52 which are both much better than the h110i plus look much nicer

Other than that your build looks very solid but you don't need the thermal paste, the stuff that comes with the cooler is good enough :)

Random objects that are half dangling over the edge of a table or cabinet, it drives me nuts always thinking they are all about to fall on the floor (even if it is impossible )

Sleeping in my bed and assuming the middle has sunken down too much in giving me bad posture

The 1080 ti is perfect for 1440p 144hz, I'm not saying you shouldn't get a 1080, but at your budget you can easily fit one in, so why not, and my opinion is upgrade every two years or so, don't try to lways have the best newest hardware, just get what suits your needs, and the 1080 ti will fit perfectly

Comment reply on Forum Topic "1080 and ultrawide monitors..."

a 1080 can do 1440 ultrawide quite well just with a few settings tweaked, 1080p ultrawide is just overkill for a 1080

This is also a good option if you don't want to spend that much on the acer one but it doesn't have G-sync, but it uses a VA panel which has good colour

I think all the 1080 ti users would be throwing their PCs out the window
