Merry Christmas to you all, and I wish you all a very good new decade, farewell 2010's.
Also Santa says, may your frames be high, and your temperatures low. :P
Yeah, say that to my GS8 that won't get android 10.
Thanks :P. I asked that question because I was interested in getting it, but it no longer sells where I live lol. But thanks either way, I completely forgot I made this comment.
Now my mindset is on affordable 1440p 144hz monitors like that LG IPS one.
Oh yeah, and don't forget dessert either.
That is especially useful if it is a specific part that wouldn't get added.
You can request new part additions here
Exactly. I'm guessing you might know what it is like to have lived in a flat place with no forests, boring. But many places are like that (desert is different, i actually like that type of landscape).
I mean, I wouldn't.
I wasn't trying to convince anyone to by that phone, but frankly, I would choose that phone no less than say a galaxy Note10+ or really anything that costs over 1K, sure the note is better value but it's still way more than what I need.
Plus I've never built a PC before (let alone use one in a long time) and I would absolutely put that money to buy the parts for one, so I agree with your second statement.
It was a joke from a linus video.
Yeah I didn't look myself sooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ :P
Agree, it is misleading.
I assume he meant $850 CAD.
Same as last year, $999 and $1099 respectively, although it is $1379 and $1519 in Canadian rupees.
aPpLe BaD, aNdRoiD gOoD.
Trick question there's no CD player in the room.
There were no laptops above 60hz at that time.
I remember on an pcpp livestream you talked about the design language for the old logo, that it was multiple parts and one was getting selected, or something like that.
I must have missed his comment. Apologies, don't mean to copy.
16 months later... this is a little late but lol I now realize what you meant by 1080p 0fps, I completely missed that typo, I thought you were just making fun of the build :P.
At that point would you think just getting an equivalent build quality windows laptop from this year would be better? I know there aren't many but still.
Id look at the Ikea skarsta desk https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S29084966/
Its 63" wide and 31" deep.
Baby whale or elephant imo.
The first one which is a the asus vivobook is new, the two HP's are "renewed" (used and refurbished) but I find you can sometimes get better value at your budget range looking at used laptops since they will often have higher end specs.
Its up to you, a lower end less powerful new laptop or a more powerful used laptop with better specs/build quality, either will work for her needs.
I also don't know the battery life on the vivobook if your daughter will be using it away from a plug often.
EDIT: the Two HP's seem to have worse lower resolution displays, I'd say maybe go for the asus.
EDIT 2: The display is fine either the HP 14" or the asus should be fine.
Something like these are a good option: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-VivoBook-NanoEdge-i3-7020U-Processor/dp/B07MWKBGK6/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2SF1RKR6IG95R&keywords=laptop&qid=1562191554&refinements=p_n_feature_fifteen_browse-bin%3A8322529031&rnid=8322509031&s=computers&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&sprefix=lap%2Caps%2C161&sr=1-1
I actually wouldn't get the one test19 suggested, I have never heard of that brand before so I usually question the quality/reliability.
That's a good idea. I'd do that.
Ok, then tell her she won't be playing minecraft or fortnite one it, I'm sorry to say because you can't get a laptop powerful enough to play fortnite or minecaft at under 350 pounds.
My advice, let her save money, 350 cutting it really close to not enough to get a decent laptop for minecraft, and certainly not fortnite. I run just minecraft on a laptop that was $599 cad, and believe me, It's not a great experience. I'd suggest 400 to 500 will give a much better experience.
Otherwise If not possible the one test suggested was good for web browsing, but tell here she wont be doing minecraft or fortnite on it. (at least, not comfortably)
Does she need a laptop btw? Because if it won't be moving much I see a good oppertunity for her to build a computer instead.
Nice, I'm about 6 months from being on here four years myself. Feels like a while too.
I never understood pokemon and still don't, lol.
There's been 100's of these posts already throughout the timeline of this site, lately now getting deleted, I'd like to see how long this one lasts.
Please, please, no need for the acknowledgment.
I knew from the second thread right away that this would be the case.
To be fair, I don't know any 6k monitor that has the same features as the pro xdr without being more expensive, but the fact that the stand is sold separately for an extra $1000 is absurd, I mean they could have thrown it in and just price it at 6k and I don't think anyone would bat an eye.
Do I even want to know what the stand costs.
Someone went through downvoting everyone lol.
You beat me to it, dammit. Except I would have been more subtle with my response and not use bold text lol.
Mind you the Zenbook pro 15 is about to be updated in the coming week or two, and possibly other laptops at or around Computex.
It looks like the 15" also has a fingerprint sensor for login while the 14 does not. But that's not the end of the world.
Don't lose any because I don't have any.
Assuming I know what that means, I do love to go for walks in the parks which intersect the train track, and see freight trains go by, especially the diesel ones, but most of the time its electric passenger trains that go by.
Np, very early lol.
Happy B-day. I understand that feeling, I will be 18 in about 8 months.
Not related at all but I love this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIdXPIN3j38
1080/2080+ for 1440p144
1080/2080+ for 1440p144
You mean 1080ti/2080? 1080 is slightly below 2070 in performance.
Yep, that's true.
I only said it was "probably" and not definitely a scam because the listing page was gone before I could even see it.
Link was removed, it was probably a scam.
