i'm gonna go ahead and say no. an r9 290x and intel core i7 4790 cant run minecraft shaders at 60 fps. (minecraft is not optimized very well) at least not on 8.1. you'd probably get close to 30-45 on 1.7.2.

i'm upvoting your build just because of the name (not that i wouldn't if it didn't have that name) +1 also nice build

yeah, on second thought, the air coming out the back as exhaust would be a lot warmer than the fresh cold air coming from the vents in the front.

you have inspired me to paint the tubing on my h105. anything i should know before i do it? or is it just not a good idea at all? ill wait for your response before painting (unless it takes forever) also, which paint did you use, i.e. plastidip, regular spraypaint, etc.

you should mount the rad on the back, where the exhaust fan is right now. it would look really nice

those pics are amazing 0_0 how did you take the pics with the white background? did you just have like a white cloth or sheet of paper behind it? or did you use an image editing software or something?

great build except for the gpu. if you built this all at once, why did you skimp so much on the gpu? unless you knew that you could afford something like a 970 later and were planning to upgrade. anyway, this build has amazing potential. update the list and add more pics when you get your new gpu. im excited to see what you do with it C:

i think 15 seconds to boot is awesome, and i have not yet seen a regular pc with an ssd that boots in 3.7-5 seconds.

i honestly do not feel the need for an ssd. i just timed how long it takes to boot up my pc, and it takes 15 seconds which is completely ok in my eyes. also i do not really care about how long it takes to open up or load some games because it only takes about 3 seconds tops.the keyboard has standard sized keys and yes it is very comfortable.

when i ordered the first one, i meant to buy a double dissipation model, but i accidentally bought a reference model and i would hate to buy two different gpu's.
