agreed! and the 970 is gonna be good for a while to come. just don't update the drivers right? ;D
thanks! and honestly this is an ikea desk and my only complaint is that the table top itself is pretty flimsy. That coupled with the heavier load makes the desk pretty wobbly. I am planning on actually making my own table in a month or so so I'll update Happy Camper then :)
I absolutely love simplistic/minimalist set ups btw. I always had to put a board under my PC if it was on the ground. My first PSU choked because it had sucked up some carpet fibers
is your pc on carpet??
I didn’t know much about computers at the time. Now that I know more I will definitely turn this into my streaming machine and save up for a better tower. My roommate at the time had helped me, and he had some old shite lol
I did indeed! i needed to load it off a usb drive instead of the cd bios thing
I don't comment or like builds often but this was straight poern dude. Great job
Dude. I love the name of your build. So much in fact... Can I name my system that as well? The one I have on the site now was all impulse bought and even after changing stuff here and there I am still kind of unsatisfied with my build because I bought components on the word of my room mate before doing the amount of research/drooling I now put into other builds. Speaking of which I need to update the build on my profile. It's now different enough for me to justify creating a new completed build hahaha
Very clever way to show off your 3D printer (picture 6 & 7). If that is what it is.
The case and exposed layout is very pretty, it's a real shame you didn't face it towards you! Furthermore, did you know that this case is wall mountable? This would clear up desk space and show off your neat build that you can admire and be proud of. If mounting something this expensive securely to the wall makes you apprehensive, here is an easy cheat to mount anything to a wall without having to care too much about how far apart the vertical beams are from each other (Start watching from 2:05, what he says in the beginning just talks about the thing he's mounting to the wall). I can contest to this method of wall mounting. It's cheap, easy to do and when done properly, I was able to hang off of the wall portion of the cleat.
This is great! I love seeing red, white, and black color scheme cases!
Nothing yet, I am waiting on Ryzen to release. Then I'll make my decision. However, I did see the motherboard I want to use. It's an AsRock and I saw it on one of PaulsHardware's videos covering CES 2017. I am an engineering Student and it has gears and **** printed on it and it looks friggin sweet. I thought I would have to wait out for an all white motherboard but this one takes the cake lol :) and when writing that last comment I was actually referring to updating my build here on PCpartpicker. The majority of the hardware is the same just a few neat little gadgets here and there I've picked up on the way. :)
Sweet man! I'm glad I could help you out! I'll be waiting on an update! Haha I know I've been meaning to update mine for a while now
But by god your build is gorgeous
In my head when I see this I can easily see some tweaking to make it striking like Bloodmist or Skunkworks. If you don't know what they are or look like, look up Jayztwocents one YouTube: absolutely sexy.
It's rare to find a white and red build like yours. I am planning on making one similar but don't you think that a pastel red would strike out better against the white?
What did you think of the case, you are the only one who has used this case and posted it. It looks awesome but is it good build quality?
What did you think of the s340 Elite? I'm thinking about going for one but I'm aprehensive about the black side panel and fan thing up top. I really want to do a white and red build where the red is all hardline watercooling and I think it'll look badass but I'm still unsure
I think you could have used a white plastidip spray and I think it would have looked a little nicer. Plus if you ever get tired of that color you could just peel it off and spray with another color. I've been planning on doing that to the AIO cooler I'm going to get but you beat me to the punch!
It's very very very nice. Although I feel like with over $3000 spent it could look a little nicer/tidier. Just my two cents
Dude you were honestly scaring me around slide 48. I was like, "What the hell? hes not really going to put olive oil, right?" totally not remembering that your pictures in the beginning showed blue liquid. hehehe
Go onto the Windows website and download the Windows 7 or 10 ISO onto a flash drive, then when you start up your computer for the first time with the intent of installing Windows, make sure you have the flashdrive plugged in and you have your purchased Windows product key ready.
I love it. My system boots up in 23 seconds
I haven't yet, but I've been informed that you can get it up to 4.5GHz comfortably with fan cooling but with water cooling you can get up to 5.0GHz
thanks man :)
Hey! Hows that mouse? I have a wireless mouse and have been looking at that mouse as a replacement :)
Also, Congrats on the 1080 build! I was going to buy one but they were all sold out when I checked :/
I'm planning on getting a 1070 when MSI makes theirs. Plus this will give me time to save up.
I just posted a review! Here's what I put:
It's sleek and has absolutely no issues with connectivity and performance! The only negative thing is that there aren't any buttons for the thumb-forward-and-back thing. Sorry to be really non-specific but I don't know the name of it.
Alright will do!
What actually blew my mind that newer cases don't come with an optical drive but that is now becoming the trend. I actually borrowed my buddy's optical drive to install windows but it can be done without.
To answer your question. Yes. You will have a pretty decent gaming PC if I do say so myself haha. You won't be able to play Witcher III on 60 fps, but If you could definitely play a huge score of games with my build. I currently play a lot of Rocket league, Tomb Raider, Skyrim, and many others.
If you would like I could give you a run down on what each part would effectively do? Just so that you get your money's worth and decide where your money is spent? I would message you privately.
It's decent. it is really limited on the right hand side but I was able to manage nicely. What I do have to pat myself in the back for was that I was able to use only one Power SATA cable for my SSD, HDD, and fan control. I nerd-gasmed tbh. As for the stock fans. The one in the back is fantastic and silent. the two in the front glow red... woo hoo! it's just that one of the cables wouldn't work unless it was straight. So that's a Con.
I actually recently acquired a 970 from my engineering professor for $200. What a steal, eh?
Oh and when it comes to the filters they slip off at the bottom with ease but you will have to remove the top and front panels to clean up those filters but they also slip out as well I think.
Wow! That friggin crazy! Respect, man!
I can't help but get all giggly over how many fans you have and my roommate does not believe you have 46 fans, could you please explain????? xD this is great to be honest, I just wish I had money to spend like you!!
Thanks! Pssst speaking of this sexy *** case, I would like to write a review for it but I don't know how. Help a brother out?
Again, preference. Haha
Nah, I only came up with 350w? 500 is plenty, my friend
I'm actually a fan for scissor switch keyboards thank you very much! My friend has cherry mx red and I hate it hahaha too sensitive.
It's funny that you say that, low and behold I am a chicklet-scissor switch fan haha I like the feedback and so forth but in terms of cherry mx, I would go for brown or blue. But if you're planning on buying a keyboard soon, wait because I think in May they are releasing another line of cherry mx switches.
It is on pcpartpicker it just means whatever you have planned right now is not compatible. I had the same problem and I found that my first cooler was too large. You may have the same problem, I highly recommend the one I have, it's fantastic.
Thanks! And the cooler is fantastic, intake and outtake fans on either side of the unit. But be careful on which is which because of the case fan next to it.
And thank you pertaining to the case yo!!
Thanks man! And honestly I didn't know that 300 series were still in stock haha but then again my friend (who got me into all of this) insisted I get the 960 or 970
Building in it was easy as pie. You don't have to screw your HDD's or SSD's, just slide them in till you feel it click in place. Cable management is great and they offset the back panel slightly to allow some extra room. It's great and I think the only problem is that there isn't any room to put the CPU power cable at the top. I certainly didn't have room. But I was able to manage!
I honestly love it. The only problem is that it is difficult choosing where I want to put the fancy stickers that came with the motherboard and stuff because of the Asymmetrical line in the front but I kinda like it just as it is! :) thank you by the way
