The front part which comes off (where the nzxt puck goes) is red.. but a lot of s340 elites Ive seen are black. (the corners)

No I bought the black and red version too. The box even says. If you take a look of the Black/red case (S340 elite) On NZXT Site, it will look way different than yours..

Also The angle i usually sit at (PC to my left) the cooler looks straight so i honestly dont care as long as its keeping my CPU at 40 degrees Celcius! :D

The Canada Computers around me in Brampton/Vaughn has about the same prices as Amazon Canada, so I bought some parts from the store, which would've had delayed shipping on Amazon.

Your cpu is completely fine. Intel cores will work anyway, but I'm not sure if -k processers work. You can try. It will most likely work :-)

what temps do you get while overclocked? I thought the h100i GTX doesn't really cool the 6700K while Oc'ed
