The thing is, I have a low budget, and by the time I really need to upgrade, I will have a lot more money than I have now. I really don't mind the used parts. Also, I really want a true quad core, even though the G4560 is a decent chip.

Also, the overclocking on the 4670k is a nice feature to have and it can easily be made to 4.0 GHz.

That's fine, and I can always install Win 10 if I really need it.

I like it much better than windows 10. Personally, I think Win10 is garbage. I can run linux, but that comes with its own problems.

Overclocked: CPU Speed is the same. Radeon HD 7950 is running @ 1200 MHz core and 1575 Memory with no added voltage.

Hopefully it still has a couple of years of OS X support. Also, MSI AfterBurner works fine on a Mac under Windows.

The only way I knew it was FoxCONN was the stamp in the metal that said made by FoxCONN, and I didn't even notice it at first lol.

The Hard drives I am using were in the family. It was our NAS that failed.

Unfortunately, I could only get my G0 rev chip up to 2.7 because my dang motherboard doesn't support voltage tweaks. If I went higher all OSes failed when booting :(

Mac Pluses are not. Something like a Mac 128K in good condition would be though. A working Mac Plus sells for around 100-200 dollars us.

I would try RMAing the psu, or maybe returning it and getting a different one. You have a NEX, not a G2 and NEX psus are very mediocre in quality. I would get a supernova G2. It is a much better psu.

It means you can overclock, but you need a z170 based motherboard for that, so go with a 6600 non k or go with a different Mobo
