The thing is, I have a low budget, and by the time I really need to upgrade, I will have a lot more money than I have now. I really don't mind the used parts. Also, I really want a true quad core, even though the G4560 is a decent chip.
Also, the overclocking on the 4670k is a nice feature to have and it can easily be made to 4.0 GHz.
I would like to do a cookie cutter i7 build, but all my budget goes towards my vintage computer collecting hobby and not my bank account. I need to stop buying computers!
Unfortunately, I could only get my G0 rev chip up to 2.7 because my dang motherboard doesn't support voltage tweaks. If I went higher all OSes failed when booting :(
I would try RMAing the psu, or maybe returning it and getting a different one. You have a NEX, not a G2 and NEX psus are very mediocre in quality. I would get a supernova G2. It is a much better psu.
