Did you delid as well? When you've spent all that on watercooling you really should.
Sweet. How hard was it? I'm considering doing watercooling for my next build.
Nope. Just going to have to sync them manually in terms of color and effect. Theres 4 different pieces of software + the button on the case i have for managing the colors.
The case has a built in rgb-controller so i've plugged the cables into that.
**** me sideways that's amazing. You know, i considered going for the itx version but i really wanted the kraken to fit. I simply love your cable management, its stunning. Any reason why you went with those fans in the top in particular? They look like airflow fans which doesn't do too well vs such a restrictive top.
Edit: The more i look at the build, the more i am considering buying an ITX case as well as a cpu rad for some sweet micropower.
Depends on the size of the gpu. I don't actually know because i didn't try. There's ~ 1,5 cm of clearance between my card and the fans.
It has the plate you remove to mount a pump, but alright.
Where do you route the power to the gpu to? Down in the hole to the HDD's?
I haven't experienced any issues with it at all.
How did an uncompleted build get confirmed as a completed build? What's the point of mods confirming the builds if you're allowed to post a build that isn't finished?
x52 is 240mm wide, x62 is 280mm
Sweet build. Makes me want to swap my radiator around :D
There's nothing wrong with the cooler in my experience. 70 degrees on the CPU after 15 min of stress testing, water hit 37 degrees with the "silent" configuration. Granted i'm using the LL fans but i'm not sure how big of a difference that makes. The pump itself is pretty quiet.
It's fine. The only grive i have with it is that you can't lower the fan speed on the fans connected to the extra connectors (connected to the kraken) below 25%. It would be nice to have them spin slightly slower.
That CPU is rather toasty. I have the same one and I only hit 70 with a much smaller case in aida64.
Thank you. I can't stop looking at it, the fans are mesmerising.
Appreciate it. I bought some sleeves cables too but realized they were the extension variant when I tried to plug them into the PSU :D
That's why I went with it. I don't like the idea of a big case where most of it is filled with nothing. 2 ssd's + 2 m.2's + 2 3.5 HDD's is plenty of room for me.
I liked the look of it, that's all. Haven't heard one should be better than the other so I just went with the one that looked the best.
Thank you :)
Tbh I haven't tried. All the builds I've seen with the case put the radiator on the top so I assumed that it couldn't fit with a full size. I'm thinking it cant because there's only a couple cm between the GPU and the front fans. I know for a fact that a 240 mm can fit but 280? Doubt it.
Oh yeah definetly. I've had windows on a SATA SSD for years now and with windows on the .2 it's extremely fast. Any programs i put on it opens in an instant.
Definitely. I mean it's not like it covers it all. It's more like you can't see the logo unless it's at eye height.
Oh and the placement of RGB zone is a bit dumb since it gets covered if you have a big gpu mounted.
It's great. Too bad I figured out about the "missing" RGB header when I was mounting the RGB cables :D
It's an mATX case. There's no room for an ATX mobo :)
