Yup, so basic windows 10 is fine for her.
It's visible but dark. I had it one blue and it shines through well enough. It doesn't much of an effect though if it's only the motherboard that had rgb.
I didn't want to push it too far, as my client likely wouldn't be able to troubleshoot any oc problems, so I just got it to a stable 3.9 ghz.
I mean, I'd agree on some points, but my client is like pretty old so I'm not sure I want to have to explain a new OS to her; she requested Windows so I complied.
*a hat to beg with
*end my suffering
Thanks man, I appreciate the positive feedback! ;)
wait but I cant afford any water after this build un-spits
I did not, have you tried spacing them out, I put them in the wrong way in the pictures, they have to be spaced out.
Thanks! Ah, sadly these DIMMS don't. But I think the white accents still match the build pretty well. Only the RGB ones have LEDs.
No, it's probably 460+ Canadian dollars. Supposed to be around 380 USD.
Yeah, it more of a "my friend is kinda a beginner when it comes to this and wasn't comfortable with too much overclocking and was willing to pay the extra just to get that out of the box higher baseclock" situation. But thanks!
Yeah, there you go, I just couldn't remember whether it came with the case or the motherboard but it's definitely the q connector I'm remembering.
Again, no problem
Hmmm, might not be included in the case then, maybe it's included with some motherboards like the Maximus IX Code I have in my personal rig?
I do understand your point, and your completely right, but I merely built it to what she asked for, she picked the monitor as it was the cheapest 1080p monitor out there and fit her needs. Also, a lot of the budget as I mentioned in the description was put to aesthetics.
The NZXT S340 Elite has one, and that was the case I used for my first build. Other NZXT cases likely have them as wel.l
Yeah I saw they were single channel, and figured it was a problem with where they were put it, but the stock cooler makes it kinda a tight fit so I'm waiting for Cryorig to send me my AM4 bracket and I'll fix the ram when I put in the C7. Thanks for reminding me!
I meant how some cases have a little thing that you can plug all the io cables into then plus that into the motherboard, which makes it way easier to do.
SIMPLY UNHEARD OF
I WOULD KILL FOR THAT
For the memes my man, for the memes.
Why thank you
Ok, I hope it comes soon!
Nice, are you getting an RGB waterblock for those style points?
Almost 7k build, buys 980 ti.
What a legend.
Thanks you! A little advice for when you go to build that PC: buy the mobo, SSD, and CPU at Micro Center! The prices I got my parts for were a solid 30-40 dollars under that of the online listings on Amazon and Newegg. I think they also have a combo deal, where it's like another 30 bucks off when you buy the 3 together. (Micro Center pls sponsor me, I'm totally broke now)
Thank you so much! Honestly, while I did notice the blueness of the older fan, the fact that the other, whiter, fan is on the top makes it much less noticeable. Also, I'm loving the Back to the Future reference there.
Dude, you have no idea. If you have a passion for sexy ram and 329.99 burning a hole in your wallet, well, I own set 384 of the RAM. What set is yours ramthor?
Thanks, I guess I pulled the lever on the slot machine and got all 7's ;)
Then there wouldn't be enough 7's. (Also the 1080 Sea Hawk costs like, $750)
Still really good somehow! It stays around 31 degrees Celsius most of the time, but can get to 36 on rare occasions. The H100i V2 is a beast!
Thanks! It's way more than I could ever need. It's an awesome board.
No problem :)
Awesome build! I have one of those 1070 hybrids and it crushes 1440p. Maybe if you can't maintain 60 fps you should turn off FXAA. Since your TV has that many pixels, FXAA doesn't make that big of a difference and just uses up graphics horsepower. Unless you've already turned it off.
Yeah, all the other Z270 mobo's are getting no love.
That's not my point. And no, if you did that it wouldn't be the first build. I'm saying that the build was upgraded to and became a Kaby Lake build before the one you linked was even built, not that I'm basing which came first off of the original build date regardless of the actual date they had Kaby Lake processors. Also, that's not a link shortener, it was my domain that I recently got rid of, I just forgot to change the domain on my profile.
Yeah, but he still updated it on the same day that build way made, so it must have had it's Kaby Lake processor by then. It still counts as a Kaby Lake build.
Also that's a mITX build, not a mATX like this one.
It's number two actually.
They were made on the same day, when I checked, this one came first.
Oh nice, that box might make a great case.
Definitely the first at a smaller form factor!
5000/10 Cardboard sheets.
I have to admit, I've never seen that mATX case before. Was the packaging good on your case?
But that's JayzTwoCents' build name...
Good luck on your 7700k build though!
I'm also going to do a Z270/7700k build in the near future.
Actually it's the 3rd on PCPP
