nice one buddy! thanks for the feedback, I'll go for the 55'' then!
Awesome classy setup!
How is that TV of yours? I'm thinking about getting the 55' version for ps4 pro
excellent thanks for checking!!
Nice build! I'm thinking about getting this case as well, can the feet be taken off to reduce overall height? so i can squeeze it into a tight space on my desk lool
just turn some settings down and it would be alright xD I had a 1070 for 6 months before upgrading to 1080ti, but yeah a 1080 would be a better choice for the resolution
A 1070 will be able to drive most recent AAA titles in high settings at 60fps, so your best bet is to go for a 1080 for longivity i think.
just realised they are logitech z333, are they good? I'm looking for a discreet looking pair of speakers and their style really suits what I'm looking for
hey what speakers are those?
this is awesome! I'm copying it to build one for my mum hahaha thanks!
what speaker is that?
r9 290x to go with the freesync monitor obviously, it easily outperforms Rx 480 and is essentially the same card as r9 390x, no point getting the fury series as they are not good performance per dollar especially with vega coming out soon.
I personally still use a r9 290 vapor-x OCd, and I can maintain 60fps in 1440p easily in AAA titles.
this one will do the trick :D its pricey but worth it
You'll end up doing long term damage to your neck, which is something u don't want, you should invest in an ergotron ergonomic arm.
I have it attached to my 144hz monitor so I can swivel it in front of my ultrawide whenever I play FPS games.
This setup is crying for an ultrawide
save that gpu! it's sagging so much!
+1, but bro are you 6'8 cos that monitor is mounted sooooooooo high
+1 but get this beauty off of the carpet right now!!!!
that is epic! I shall look into building one DIY as well then!
nice build you got there!
where did you get that headphone hanger from? it's sexy!
could you tell me how much fps you get in games with that gtx 1070? and under what settings?
I'm thinking about getting one also but not sure whether it's enough horse power for my acer 34x display!
very nice clean build!
where did you get your 'Jack lives here' sign from? :D
your monitor should be connected to the back of your pc, check which cable you are using to connect your monitor with, if it's a HDMI cable then you won't get 144hz. You will need a display port cable or Dual link DVI, check which connectors you GPU has.
what cable are you using to connect your monitor to your gpu?
only displayport or Dual link DVI supports 144hz
nice build! i recently got myself a lg 34um68, and ultrawide is the way to go!
what game is that btw???
I'm a bit concerned because I read a review just now where they mentioned issues with game crashing and graphical glitching with this card... and XFX isn't known for good customer services.... such a dilemma.
I'm also looking at this, have seen some reviews, xfx r9 fury seems decent....defo good thermal control! seems too good to be true tho??? I'm so damn tempted!
wait til end of the year when 3440x1440p 144hz comes out! I'm already in the process of selling every little random **** lying around the house to save up for it!
very clean setup!
I just got myself a lg 34um68 (also freesync 75hz version) for watching movies and non-fps games, and I gotta say 21:9 ratio is freaking awesome!!!
love this type of setup, simple and sexy
I see that you have Gtx GPUs, unless I'm mistaken, you can't utilize freesync with Nvidia GPU?
Freesync and Gsync essentially serve the same purpose, personally I can't tell the difference between the two. (I'm using freesync, my mate is using Gsync)
I would recommend either switching to AMD or switch to a G sync monitor whenever ur finance allows :D adaptive sync really is worth the extra money! I can never go back now after using freesync for gaming!
Awesome setup! which monitor arm are you using on the x34?
Sure thing :D
Color vibrance: 11
Low blue light: 0
black equaliser: 0
Color temp : user defined 95 99 98
Make sure you have version 2 fimware of this monitor, mine was version 1, I had it RMA'd and the difference in freesync performance is night and day!
+1 for the Herman Miller chair
It was originally a glass top desk, I bought some A4 sized black and white vinyl sheets and made the pattern myself :)
Justin Maller wallpapers :D
It's a wooden headphone stand bought from eBay
I taped a white led strip on the inside to create the glowing effect.
Thanks! My OCD won't allow me to leave things messy :) my friend has a ROG swift and having played on each other's setup we can't really tell the difference. So I would say that if u had an AMD gpu then go for the benq! As its a LOT cheaper than asus.
Thanks for the positive comment! The K65 is absolutely brilliant! Definitely the best keyboard I've had, Very nice, compact and responsive. The RGB lighting is very nice to look at and complements my setup well :)
kopparberg cider and build is sitting under my desk :) pics will come soon!
Will post later!
Lucky I only get to play in the evenings so I always make sure I have a massive dinner before going on my pc to stop myself from snacking xD
Thanks!!! I live in a one bedroom flat due to insane high rent in London, so my setup is in between my living room and kitchen xD
Thanks for the comment :) yeah I agree the cpu is overkill, I bought it as a treat for myself on getting a new job and didn't have to spend too much on it due to selling my old cpu :) so completely unnecessary but yolo right?
Thanks for the comment :) I took the picture in a hurry last night and completely forgot about my pc! It's sitting under my desk, I will add more pics of it later :)
Thanks for the positive comment :) I'm using RGB led strips bought from eBay. There's one taped on to the back of my monitor, a white led strip taped on the underside of my monitor, a long RGB strip taped onto the edge of my desk and a tiny white led strip taped on the inside of my headphone stand :)
Sorry for offending you but I didn't notice the price on pcpartpicker when I ticked it. It was originally bought for £225 when it went on sale on overclockers.uk
Thank you! Will post pictures of the pc soon!
Thanks :) will post more pics of the pc soon!
hey! did u just unscrew and remove the GPU plates for painting? I have a r9 290 vapor-x and I want to do exactly what you did!
