You only really need 64gbs to load a ramdisk, not many games are over 40gbs these days...

It's a ryzen CPU, so 2400mhz ram is pretty low. If you ever need to upgrade, you should probably go 3200+ for ryzen.

DDR3 ram? z97 mobo? 4790k cpu? bronze-certified psu? overpriced MSI card? 200$ for a 480 SATA SSD? what a build.

is a 1080TI better than a 2080 for the same price?

Nice micro build. Cable management is great for the size. Question, though: why use Mac as a daily driver? What work do you do that fits a Mac better and is worth going through the trouble for?

why a vega frontier again? unless you got it for 500$, it's just an overpriced 1080.

These aren't parts for a gaming PC http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-7700K-vs-Intel-Core-i3-8350K/3647vs3935 That processor has multithreading, which is useless for gaming. Double the cost of an I3, for only about 3% more effective speed. That money could have gone to a better gpu, as the 1080TI completely outmatches the 1080. And you aren't using enough watts to warrant an 860W Platinum supply. 16GBs ram is overkill, 32 is only good if you're making music and sampling. OK build for 3d modeling, rendering, or VR Terrible $ efficiency if you're going for gaming
