I ended up going with the Define S, really nice case, easy to build it, great cable management
Putting coffee on CPU.. savage +1
Excuse me let me just grab my jaw off the floor
WOW! There are builds that are really amazing on pcpp. Then there are the ones that get featured. Then there are the ones that make me a little mad because of how awesome they are. This just made a new category on my list.
Speechless. I've got the same case, now I really want to water cool my pentium :P +100
I have been waiting for a rainbow themed build. +1
I don't have anything to say. Honestly I'm speechless +1
This is amazing. I'm so glad I got the Define S, watercooling just looks so good in it. I'll be disappointed if this doesn't get featured +1
Thanks! The PSU was the thing i worried about the most. I was able to pick this one up for $20 off
This build looks great jip, mini itx ftw
Not necessarily that i dont want one. I just couldnt afford it. Im just going to wait for Pascal
Great build man, forgot all about the 450D lol
That mesh on the front always looks amazing with LED fans. Great build, I'll be looking for next months update.
Damn, I'm a sucker for Air 540 builds, I'd love to see some more pics
I love MicroATX-MiniATX builds, this makes me regret getting a Define S a bit..
Wow, that is a amazing setup. Though I gotta ask... What's up with the mousepad on the mousepad?
That's quite a case. Really interesting +1
I know, I'd just rather stick with a Define S for first time watercooling. I would love to do a mini-itx water cooled build far in the future, when I have money to spend on things like that.
Awesome backplate ☑, Corsair Air 240 ☑, K70 RGB ☑, Great looking build ☑, +1 ☑, More pictures? ☐
Great first build, 2 questions though. Why did you chose the case and why not skylake?
Reading parts list
2GB ram, 160GB HDD, FX5200, Pentium 4, Metal heatsink cooled by the exhaust of case xD this really made me laugh.
That MasterCase Pro 5 looks amazing. Really good green build!
Ahh, I love Mini-itx builds. Would have gotten one myself if I didn't want to do a custom loop.+1
Legitimate question here, can it run minesweeper? xD
I wont be using my laptop anymore once I get my new PC, so it's fine if only one is able to upgrade
Holy Mother of Pictures
Uh... Michael Jackson?
I think I'm going to try downloading Windows 8.1 onto USB off of my laptop then upgrading it to windows 10 once I install it on my new PC. Would that work?
Great choice on that case. If I had a bit more money I would have definitely gotten it. I'd love to see more pics. +1
Wow! That is quite an amazing concept photo. How long did it take you? This is a great budget build as well. +1
Thanks for the quick response
That tubing going behind the cables is amazing
How's the Corsair RM 650W any other recommendations?
What exactly makes this a bad PSU? I could currently get it for around $55 on newegg with a Mail-in Rebate
It was one of the cheapest fully modular PSUs I could find
MSI B150 Gaming M3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard This is a better motherboard m8
A Z170 Motherboard is useless with a non-k chip. It only adds price and 0 performance.
Sees Air 540. Clicks on build. +1s build.
Are you planning on upgrading? because you dont need a Z170 Motherboard with a non-K CPU
Super Sexy +1
This is a great build. I love the subtle mods on the case. Why did you get the NZXT Hue instead of HUE+? It doesn't need a drive bay, but seriously why is every bodies PC black and red nowadays? +1 anyways
Thanks so much for the info!
Fractal Design Define S/R4/R5, NZXT S340, Phanteks Enthoo Pro or Pro M. If you're willing to go over budget by about $40 then go for the Corsair Air 540 if you REALLY need good cable management options
I know this would be a large task to take on, but I think you should add a custom water cooling section to PCPP. It will not only make water cooling easier, but maybe get some more people into doing it. What do you think?
Hopefully this should get you on the right track
If you're going to make this future proof, I recommend not using an AMD fx processor, that chipset is kind of outdated, you could do much better for $700. Your case is probably a bit overkill aswell. I'll see post a improved build in a few minutes
Whoa that case there at the end, its awesome.
She may run like the wind, but is she loud like the wind?
