That should be fine. You could just put in a 4x8GB set, but 2 separate sets should work as well.

My build. Had to squeeze a bit in some areas, as with a gtx1080, you should probably have at least a descent 1440p monitor to put it to good use. Didn't feel the need for SLI 1080s, as that's not really worth it without a 4K monitor. Good luck everyone, and Happy New Year! :-)

I have a question about this. If a motherboard only has two SATA 6 GB/s ports, and you install a M.2 SSD as the boot drive, does that mean you can't use any other SSDs/HDs for storage?
