Can’t really fault it
the b450m mortar
The msi vdh is trash
Can’t fault it
Just make sure from the seller of the motherboard that the bios is updated
Really good job there
Maybe add a cheap A-RGB fan in the back to add some spice, but otherwise super clean
Hi this is the earliest build I could find on pcpp
You are my god
ha same here
They’re deepcool mf series fans
Noctua coolers are great but ugly. I recommend the be quiet dark rock pro 4 instead.
Otherwise great build!
If that arrived at my doorstep i would have to pinch myself to make sure i wasn't in a dream
im lost for words
PLEASE at least do SOME cable management on your setup!
it looks like what a conquistador's pc would look like
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
get a b450 so you don't have to fiddle around with bios nonsense
probably worth getting a couple of cheap fans like the arctic f12 to put in the front of the case to help with airflow, and the only other thing I would add is that you should get a small 120gb 2.5" SSD to put windows on
Looks great, but get some chromax fans to replace those horrible fans on the cooler
It would be worth getting a used i3/i5 of eBay and chucking that onto the mobo then selling it
£400, £450 tops
I would go AMD
Thanks for the advice.
I think you can buy these things that you slide your unmagnetised screwdriver in and out of and you can magnetise it, but you could probably by a pre-magnetised screwdriver for the same price.
Hey I’m 13 have u got any tips as I wanna build a system very similar to yours
This isn't Reddit, but if you're looking for pure gaming power then get an i9 9900k
Looks really solid mate. It's for gaming I assume?
Lovin' the corvette
try going for a better cooler and a 2600x. With a modest overclock it'll perform just as well as the 1700x
It's better than a ps4 or xbox one, so i'd go for it
Good 4 u
I probably will chuck in a 1x8gb stick thanks
I was worrying about the need for a BIOS update though
There's no way ur gonna put windows and loads of games onto a 120gb SSD.
I would either get a 1tb WD blue for games or if you want fast loading times then ditch the 120GB SSD and get a 500gb one.
Don't go for the i5 as it isn't multithreaded - 6 threads vs 12 on the 2600
Seeing how slow Minecraft was on my AMD A4-5000 laptop
No just the PC
WOW, i never knew there were so many lego fans on PCPP!
i watch jangbricks aswell
Oh yeah forgot about that
Looks solid. You might want to swap out that barracuda for a 2tb WD blue
I imagine he’ll be running FreeNAS or something like that
I would recommend getting a cx450m over evga 500w
It’s cooled by liquefied port a fort
